We will reap what we sow.

As to school debt. I admit to not being well versed as to what or colleges and universities are doing but if we are following the U.S. example, then shame on us.

I picked this up elsewhere.

Does the UC San Diego really need all of the following:

  1. Vice chancellor for equity, diversity, and inclusion
  2. Chancellor’s Diversity Office
  3. The associate vice chancellor for faculty equity
  4. The assistant vice chancellor for diversity
  5. The faculty equity advisors, the graduate diversity coordinators
  6. The staff diversity liaison, the undergraduate student diversity liaison
  7. The graduate student diversity liaison, the chief diversity officer
  8. The director of development for diversity initiatives
  9. The Office of Academic Diversity and Equal Opportunity
  10. The Committee on Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation Issues
  11. The Committee on the Status of Women
  12. The Campus Council on Climate, Culture and Inclusion
  13. The Diversity Council
  14. The directors of the Cross-Cultural Center
  15. The Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Resource Center
  16. The Women’s Center.

Each and every one of these require staff and are a drain on resources, not to mention eat up millions in salaries, with many of these people making at or close to six figure salaries. So the cost of college alone is not worth it, especially if so much of your money is eaten up to advance social justice politics.

Of course they do. Otherwise there would be no jobs for the graduates of useless programs they provide.

I'm afraid market considerations outweigh moral values. You seem to be intent on further degrading a struggling economy by your stubborn denial of the potential of the human body in this matter. What is wholesome wellness in the modern corporatocracy? The march to commodification of the teeming masses with their naughty parts and practices has the potential to save humanity, some ethical adjustment is certainly required but since we are as a collective engaged in the most brutal pornocraphic carnage imaginable as a matter of earning our dayly bread I think your attention is wasted on a sideshow. Certainly I share your disgust in this matter but pound for pound the human meat marketers know that widespread systemic poverty and displacement are far the superior weapons in the war against spiritual health. I think your struggle is best served by decapitation rather than amputation of some accessory digit. If the heads are removed the vile bodies will wither. Hear we see at work in it's natural setting the purpose of life itself, the personal armageddon we all must undergo. I hope this brief somehow assists to alieviate your angst.

With everything going on with the next generation, internet porn is the least of my concerns. I'm more concerned about their constant use of cellphones wherever they go (work, school, etc.), using social media to harass/bully others, using their cellphones to commit crimes (taking pictures/video of someone being raped/beaten is JUST as vile as the acts themselves), not being able to write correctly (everything is truncated, or in l00t speak), having cursive writing getting taken away, becoming bubble-people since everything offends someone and they simply cannot have their children exposed to anything that could be *sniff* harmful, such as a Wonder Woman lunchbox.

So, NO, I am not fearful of internet porn ruining them, and NO I don't think censorship is the answer. We do that, we'll start going down the road of North Korea where everything is censored.

To take it one step further, I think cell phone use is way too far over done. Do people have to talk all the time? When I was growing up we possibly made 3 - 3 minute phone calls on a busy day and we SURVIVED. It's got to be an unhealthy obsession!

I think it almost is! Texting, playing the games, checking emails. They are doing it far too much. It's almost like they have a physical need to have it with them at all times. It's like a drug!

What bothers me most about it, is it takes too much time away from important things that young people should be doing in their productive years. Just yesterday I heard on the idiot box that many of the schools in B.C. don't have a policy in place re the use of cell phones in school. We were brought up to believe that anything that was an interruption to the teacher's job was just plain rude. I would say when a class is in session they should be locked in the locker. But perhaps the teachers are just as bad! It's getting scary.

I wonder what would happen if the teacher tried to take away their phones? Probably get in trouble...

Of course if you smashed one of the little darling's cell phones (which I might be tempted to do) there would be hell to pay but I definitely agree with the teacher taking it and telling the kid he/she can pick it up at the principal's office after school and be prepared to tell the principal how it got there.......................................Nah, forget that.................probably both the teacher and the principal wouldn't understand. Just an indication how bad things are here (my grand daughter goes to school here and another graduated a year ago) they missed about 6 weeks of school because the teachers were on strike ("we're doing it for the benefit of the kids") and not one hour of that lost time was made up & all the kids were pushed on to the next grade. But I'm digressing from the topic at hand. :) :)

. . . having cursive writing getting taken away,
80% of the time the writing is unreadable, it should be printed and the signature is in 'writing'. (which means all that time can be used to learn something important. Like when you want a distraction from war the porn is the best option because the are the top ywo issuses in any culture and it is mostly corrupted.
