Bill Clinton facing four sexual assault lawsuits after fresh allegations made against former president

Bill Clinton is reportedly facing fresh allegations of sexual assault by four women, according to sources within the Democratic party.
The women claim Mr Clinton assaulted them while they were in their late teens and working for playboy billionaire investor Ron Burkle.*
Mr Clinton helped the billionaire generate business and reportedly flew around the world with a flock of beautiful young women on Mr Burkle's private jet.
It is not clear exactly when the assaults are alleged to have taken place but they date from after Mr Clinton left the White House in 2001, according to sources within the Democratic Party.
The women have not been named but are reportedly preparing to file four separate lawsuits against him.
There is no suggestion Mr Burkle was aware of any impropriety.

The 71-year-old has faced a number of allegations of sexual misconduct in the past, including his infamous affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky while in office.
Mr Clinton also paid $850,000 to former Arkansas state employee Paula Jones to settle a sexual harassment claim against him.
The settlement led to the House of Representatives beginning impeachment proceedings against the 42nd president. He was later acquitted by the Senate.
In 1999 Juanita Broaddrick, a nursing home administrator, claimed Mr Clinton had raped her while a former White House aide Kathleen Willey claimed he sexually assaulted her during his first term in office.
Mr Clinton has always denied both allegations.
The four women currently taking action are hoping to secure substantial payouts in return for their silence, according to an official who served in Mr Clinton's administration.
However if their attempt at a payout fails they are said to be ready to go public with their allegations.
Mr Clinton has always denied both allegations.

The four women *have not been named but are coordinating their legal efforts in a bid to secure substantial payouts in return for their silence, according to an official who served in Mr Clinton administration.
The four women currently taking action against Mr Clinton have not been named but are reportedly preparing to file four separate lawsuits against him.
A member of Mr Clinton's legal team has confirmed the existence of the new allegations, telling the Mail Online: "Obviously, I'm aware of [the allegations] but can't talk about them".
However Mr Clinton's lawyer did not responded to the Telegraph's request for comment.
"Bill is distraught at the thought of having to testify and defend himself against sex charges again," a Democratic Party official told the Mail Online.
"He hopes his legal team can somehow stop the women from filing charges and drag him through the mud".

Say it ain't so Bill LOL

Charlie Rose suspended from CBS News, and PBS and Bloomberg suspend his show, after Post report of sexual harassment allegations

That was swift.

Seems like the Washington Post is doing its own form of "swamp clearing". Perhaps this is why Trump hates it so much......(along with CNN)

an aside: Should a prez not try to be as impartial as possible to retain objectivity.d? Mind you ..Trump would love to control the press and have them report only favorable things about HIM.

Its pretty hilarious to expect a sexual predator to retain objectivity about sexual assault.

The final stages of empire always looks like this. Like I said, Trump is America's Nero.
Seems you have a good point. (again ;-)

When Trumpopophites gloat over his "win"....(and degrade Hillary with nastiness).... it just goes to the character of trump's supporters and

and we are seeing the effects of voting in an unethical, narrow minded, sociopath who's main focus is HIMSELF and MONEY. Seems that they have lost sight of the bigger picture ...and the higher sphere of things. Of course it is their choice....... that the US is losing influence and respect on the world stage. His supporters are blinded by the "ceremonial " events that countries display when the US comes to visit.......and if LITTLE is actually achieved.

IF further isolation is what they want....... their choice. The rest of the planet is already adapting.

the crazy thing is that America could be "burning" all around them ........and the American populous would continue to lie to themselves about it happening. The "believers would rejoice. (end times etc )

*******

Now Trump all but endorses Moore (child molester) THAT says everything about the man. A republican VOTE is more important than qualifications/ CHARACTER of the person.

Its pretty hilarious to expect a sexual predator to retain objectivity about sexual assault.
INDEED. Well stated.

Court files show allegation of "daily" harassment by Conyers

The final days of an empire look like this. Proof?

Cliffy is just feeding OB's hate for Trump and the US. Another ill informed, unsubstantiated statement. Cliffy should get a job with the Enquirer.

OB, you'd better start reading scholarly articles. Get your face out of the National Enquirer.

Actually, that is the closest thing to a news headline that I can remember seeing on a National Enquirer.

Cliffy, you're going to have to do better than that.

If you want to contribute positively to the discussion, PM OB and work something out. Between the two of you, perhaps you can come up with a plan. Frankly though, I'm doubtful.

Go out to bingo or something.

Hmm. Did not know that about Rose. Should have done more research on him as a person...

Thanks for the info Gopher. It helps build a profile of the man. Like the old adage: all is seldom as it appears.

Rose's interview with Noam Chomsky show him constantly interrupting Chomsky because of his liberal and anti war views. In his interview with Bobby Kennedy, Jr he cut short the interview because he had no answer for the intelligent arguments used by him by RFK. Also watch Rose's interview with Scottish leftist pol George Galloway - he was thoroughly insulting and disrespectful of Galloway. Rose's Islamophobia and fanatical defense of Israeli tyranny over Palestinians has been only too obvious in his TV show. Never once has he ever shown even the slightest pity for what those poor people have had to endure.

These might be available on youtube.

How many are guilty? How many have admitted guilt or have been found guilty ( aside from the public lynching's on unproven allegations).

Or does actual, verifiable, proof not matter to you?

Proof does not matter to her. In any of the threads, whatever is released in the media she takes as gospel.

OB is typical of what used to be called the "bored housewife syndrome". Make accusations. Trash talk. The truth takes a back seat to her ramblings. I have repeatedly asked for some kind of proof for many of her statements. She never does provide.

I have managed to get across that if it's her opinion, say so, but provide a reason why you feel that way. She is marginally better at this, but has a long way to go.

She cannot seem to understand that accusations are one thing. Convictions are another.

I would agree with Ocean Breeze that the evidentiary standard in the "court of public opinion" (which is where elections are decided) is lower than in criminal court.
