When a Christian can go buy a pack of smokes, a ham, Christmas tree and Playboy all in one stop like in the Baghdad prior to the war I'll consider things a success.

seems to me that we really have NO RIGHT to invade a nation, in order to make it something "we" approve of. What is important is what the Iraqis want. They want the empire OUT of their country,, never wanted to live under the terror of war, never wanted to lose the lives of so many of their own so that the empires leader could get his revenge and whatever the motives were. We cannot afford to forget that the "reasons er excuses " continued to change even after they had gone of militarily into Baghdad......in a drama worthy of hollywood.

We also cannot afford to forget that SH was the empires friend .....until he decided to make some independant decisions that the empire did not like.

Things would have changed there anyhow. It would have taken longer but it would have been achieved by the people ,

Where on earth did you get THAT??? The only coercion that took place is by Bush of Blair and the others that supported this invasion.

the LIAR is bush and those that tried to build "supportive evidence in order that bush could get his war.

Time to step into the REAL world, Sweetheart.

What the hell are you babbling about?

All the intel came from Germany.

Germany!

The US didn't make it up. The German secret services got it from someone in their captivity.

They forwarded it to the US.

LaLaLaLaLa!

indeed......hear no truth, see no truths, believe no truths and distract from those that want to point out truths.

......if that graphic is not a truthful example of the prevelant attitude ......nothing is. at least someone has the guts to post the reality of how information is handled and on a selective basis.

Foreign Business in Iraq Quadrupled in 2011

by John Glaser, December 28, 2011

U.S. investment and business in Iraq quadrupled in 2011, along with huge gains for foreign businesses overall. Iraq’s oil industry in particular is attracting foreign companies as Iraq’s government spends billions of dollars to upgrade infrastructure to make the country a more attractive investment. U.S. companies reached deals worth $8.1 billion through Dec. 1, up from $2 billion last year and total foreign investment and business activity hit $70 billion, up from $42.7 billion last year.

That question is only for those who have been blind to what has been happening during the 'industrial revolution". 'l give you a hint: Don't sell resources, don't invite companies in to do business. Go broke.

Who benefits if you can have your tongue cut out for blaspheming Allah or your hands cut off for dog-earing a Koran? Who benefits in a society that prefers regress to progress? Peace is a great thing - if you can afford it.
