lol.... most pot smokers I know don't smell like pot. They don't act much differently than anyone else in a typical moment, and many homegrow so that they know where their stuff is coming from. They (edited to clarify that I mean even those who use heavily) also tend to be a lot more mellow, trustworthy, and all around safer people than the alcoholics I deal with in my family. I can't really see a reason that they'd deserve any special dislike or rants, let alone a strong word like hate.

Drunks act retarded. Pot smokers can be silly but harmless. People who hate pot smokers are usually afraid they will find out that what they believe about life will turn out to be false - which it more than likely is.

Well, all I can say is that a good friend of mine is an RCMP officer, spent a few years as undercover vice narc, and somehow the topic of pot comes up almost every time we hang out. He gave me a funny compliment last the subject came up- he knows I blaze at will but noted that he had NEVER smelled it on me or had any other indications that I had anything to do with the substance besides the fact that he knows the deal.

And as a friend, he has no problems with me smoking the stuff, his sole concern is based on him wanting to avoid any legal entanglements in case somehow cops appear at the same place where he is while someone is smoking pot.


I smoke pot and I am glad asshats "hate" me, beating up goofballs gets tiresome and if they stay nice and far away and out of my face I don't feel the need to school them. So to trolls like Sublime- just remember that saying dumb crap like that in real life can often have consequences, you picked the perfect chicken-crap medium to express your views :D

EDIT My wife doesn't want me to use "asshat" anymore, so from now on please replace all references to the term in my posts with "spoo gargler"

I'm with sublime, I hate them too. Always not sticking their nose in my business. Walking around and not getting into fights with random passers by. Chilling out talking with their hippy friends.

What's not to hate, really?

I mean, I should really go home and throw out all my music. Damn bastards were probably on some kind of drugs.

Sublime, you should change your nic too. You'll have all the pot smoking goof balls harassing you with that nic.

Good day Sublime, I don’t know how old you are, but you seem to think that all people should think and act like you, according to you all people who smoke pot are Immature losers, first of all who gives you the right to call others names because of a habit that they feel conferrable with?
If you drink booz every day and have the hiccups after, or flip flop like a seal on the deck when you can’t walk, that makes you a bigger loser then the guy who smoke pot and doesn’t bother others. If you don’t have any bad habits, well you are fortunate in that regard, BUT you do not have the right to be a busy body and worry about people who do not bother you. I can turn this political but I will save it for another day.
If you drink on a regular basses you are a mess. If you look in your closet, I am sure there is skeletons dancing in there too.

I don't read it that Sublime thinks that all people should think and act like her.
Just said how she viewed their smell and actions, which she has probably
witnessed. That's a simple opinion, and she does have the right. I have passed
people on the street or in a store, who have the strong pot smell on them, and
it is unpleasant, I don't like it either, and perhaps they should be aware of that
problem, and go into a public place without the 'smell', no different than body
sweat,bad breath, or stinky feet.

Good evening to you talloola, I agree that pot should not be smoked on the side walk if it bothers the pedestrians, but lets face it with out any bias, there are 10s of thousands of responsible career people who enjoy the method of relaxation by smoking pot.

As we have seen no one who has smoked a j has gone out in public making fools of them self’s or the news every night “A MAN SMOKED A J AND STARTED PULLING THE WINGS OF BATTERFLYES” This sort of thing doesn’t happen with pot smokers, but drunks have done some very bad things under the influence of alcohol.

I know she is not condoning alcohol on her thread, but the level of bias against pot stinks worst then the pot one person smokes.

When you have such a vast segment of the population using the stuff, what is that indicate?
Quite simply, it states that humans have always gone through an evolutionary stage in regards to methods of amusement, methods of indulgence, and with regards to indulgence we witness that more and more people resort to the recreational use of pot more then ever in the past.
That is why pot revenues in BC are in the BILLIONS, BECAUSE THERE IS A BIG MARKET which is not going to shrink but if anything it is growing very rapidly.


The problem we see is that the government and many of the closed minded people are missing out on revenues that can help MEDICARE FOR ALL BABY BOMERS. Bias and tribal thinking is one thing, but reasonable and fair understanding of environments around us is vital to the common good.

Hate's a pretty strong word. I have never smoked pot before, but I know people that do. They are certainly not "retards".

I am only guessing here, but I think I am on safe grounds to think that pot smokers are among the loudest proponents of Green Earth and clean air.

Yet they are ready and willing to put the most vile stink in their lungs.

I hate pot smokers. I also hate nicotine addicts.
