I cheer for the Canucks. But I'm not into circle jerking. I will criticize people I cheer for when they aren't pulling their weight.
Did you miss all my earlier posts regarding the twins etc? How about the one where I questioned what was the current issue with Lou?

Circle Jerk??? This is about hockey not your sexuality!!

LOL!

You are critical of him but criticize others for doing the same. Sounds like you're blowing a lot out your ass.

And by the way, I've been posting in this thread as a Canucks fan for nearly 5 years you effin dumbass.

I criticize his recent play, not his overall ability.

All that time and you still don't have a sense of humor? I may have not been on this forum for 5 years but have been a Canuck fan for 35 years.

And please, it's f*cking dumbass!

A little tongue in cheek, another poster is so sure Boston is going to win the cup.

oops, sorry, and I should have realized that, it is clear now, 20 20 hindsight, i'm real good at.

I didn't watch the eastern game today at all, but heard the score of 3-0 end of first for boston,

then later on, was so surprised when game was all tied, then of course final score of 5-3, empty

netter.

Both teams defense isn't all that good. I've seen goals scored by both teams where the defense

was nowhere to be seen.

Seguin driving right between defense for great scoring chances, which were goals, and other

defensive lapses as well.

Never see that happen in our games, by either team, maybe the odd breakaway, but

that is a different play, defense is chasing.

Well, I hope he proves his worth. He has been very average at best. His stats are padded by a better than average defense that usually doesn't give up a lot of good scoring chances. With the pressure on the D these days the team could use a great performance out of him right about now. It seems nearly everyone the Canucks play has someone who comes up with a Conn Smythe type performance every now and then. I hope he has it in him to become the difference in one of these games.

it is not definite if it will be ballard and tanev or ballard and alberts, which side these
players play makes a difference, and it makes more sense to see ballard and tanev because
tanev will play right side and ballard left, as they played together for many games in the
season.

luongo did not have a poor game yesterday, he let in a couple of soft goals, well, at least
one very bad goal, the other border line.

in between those goals, he played an excellent game, and through out the second period was
great.

if he had played a poor game, score would have been about 8 for them and 3 for canucks.

he played well enough to make sure canucks still had a chance to tie it up, which they
almost did.

no, he certainly wasn't perfect, but compared to all goalies playing right now, including
aunti nellie, I would pick luongo every time.

It's been announced - Ballard and Tanev. Tanev is a right-hand shot and will play the right side.

14 minutes to go...

I got butterflies this time for some strange reason....

Go Canucks Go!!!!

Heck, Alley you beat me to it. I was just typing up a post about the same thing. My tummy is all a-flutter right now but I think it has more to do with worry over the goons on the Sharks team and more of our guys getting hurt. I hope the Canucks come out skating fast and furious and take all the momentum away from SJ by scoring a couple of early goals in the 1rst. Don't want to see the score up too high for our guys as that will just make the goons reckless and willing to do anything to win which won't bode well for the Canucks unless they can skate out of harms way.

GO, CANUCKS, GO! Rock the ice, Vancouver! :canada:

Really scary start to the game. Too many penalties for the Canucks and none for the Sharks. San Jose will start the 2nd with a PP as Torres took a penalty as the 1rst period was ending. Exciting game so far but the Sharks are ahead with SOGs. Canucks penalty kill is stellar so far, too bad they have to prove it again and again.

Discipline guys! And lets get more shots on the net. Lu is standing strong so far, stopped a couple of doozies.

Yeah, Glass should be "riding the pine", haven't made up my mind about Torres except to say he's probably a pretty effective and intelligent thug. Probably does as much good as damage.

I think old Auntie is starting to look a little limp, if they want to hold it at 3 they'd better put an Uncle in goal!

And Lu is looking so solid in goal, JLM, he's so focused in this game and made some really cool saves!

Started thinking about the Sharks pitiful PP and got to wondering if it doesn't take some of the wind out of their sails knowing that several of those penalties were really iffy, if not bogus. Whereas the Canucks are totally on the PP because the penalties for the Sharks were solid. Just a thought. Whatever the reason the Sharks PP really stinks, the Vancouver PP rocks and so does their PK. That read by Henrik was so pretty - and the Sharks were caught with too many men - way cool Henrik - the guy didn't have a chance - pure reflex grabbing the puck.

So glad for Ryan getting that goal. He is a regular workhorse game after game and in both periods today. Rock On, Ryan.

And two goals for Salo - way to go guy!

Apparently the Canucks set a record with 3 goals in a minute and 55.

Haven't got a clue what will happen in the 3rd as the Canucks usually star in that period. Play cool, guys, skate fast and keep your heads up.

GO, CANUCKS, GO!

How Sweet it is! Yeah Vancouver.

4 to 2 CANUCKS!

It is really hard to believe when watching the Canucks that they are actually missing valuable players. Both the new additions, Ballard and Tanev? brought something to the game today which made the absence of Rome and Erhoff that much more less noticeable.

Torres was a 'heat seeking missile' as one of the announcers mentioned after a particularly well-aimed hit. He had a great game.

Lu once again silenced his naysayers showing just why he has all those great stats and shiny awards. Rock on, Lu!

That pass from Henrik under Niemi to Burrows for the goal, I almost choked.........it was that pretty.

Henrik is now ahead in the play-offs with most points after taking over 1rst place from Thornton.

With winners, there must be losers and I really feel for many members of the Sharks team who spent long minutes on the ice and played excellent hockey only to be let down by other team members unable to step up to the play. So here's to the Sharks that played their hearts out today: Thornton, Heatly, Boyle, Couture and Clowe come readily to mind. Great game guys and see you for the final in Vancouver.

GO, CANUCKS, GO!
