SJ managed to give Vancouver THREE 5-on-3s in 2 minutes?

Some SJ players should have to WALK to Vancouver. Pathetic. Good for Vancouver, and I was pleased with the results, but if I was on SJ, I'd be pretty upset at the horrible gifts to Vancouver. When you think about it, Vancouver scored 3 of 4 goals on 2 man advantages. Only 2 goals were scored, 1 by each team, on equal strength play.

It was a great game.

I agree that at least 3 of those first 5 penalties were questionable whereas at least 2 of the 5 on 3 calls were mandatory, the too many men & delay of game. The officials seemed to disappear after those calls which was good.

Lou played really well, can't really be blamed for either goal.

Sedins are finally living up to their star rating and the rest of the team is playing strong. A little let down in the 3rd but with a 4 goal lead it is expected.

It will be very interesting to see if Thorton will play game 5, he looked to me to have either a back or rib injury from the Torres hit. If he does play I'm sure the Canucks will target his back/shoulder/ribs early to see if he can stay.

1 more win to have the chance at Lord Stanley's Cup, hope the other series keep going back and forth to game 7 with some overtime thrown in for good measure.

GO CANUCKS GO!!!!

The Sedins barely had a chance to go for a skate with all the first period penalties. They were pretty motivated when they got those power plays. Had to laugh at Bieksa saying SJ wasn't so brave to block Salo's shot after doing it in the previous game.

One of the penalties that Vancouver scored on was a delay of game penalty that S.J. got for shooting the puck out over the glass. Another
S.J. penalty was for too many men on the ice. The refereeing was bad but they can't blame the refs for those two penalties.

Yup Vancouver was handed that game on a silver platter. Complete SJ meltdown, especially what was up until today a potentially record breaking power play.

The reffing has been horrible in the playoffs. The epitome was Downey's diving penalty in the other series.

I wish they would go back to the way it used to be. No phantom hooking calls and assorted baloney. I'd rather see an ice rodeo than guys getting penalized for nothing.

Anyone notice that sucker punch Clowe got on Ryan as the whistle blew to end the game. He flattened Kesler with a head-shot. Ryan hopes the league will look at it but I wouldn't hold my breath.

yeah, seems he and kesler were jawing at each other, and the ref was 'right' there
and saw the punch, and chose to ignore it.

Sorry, Kreskin, can't do vids on dial-up but not too worry between watching 'Seeking Stanley' and Hockey2Night, I must have seen the hip check - a dozen times or more. What a beaut, eh!
Ya, youtube has about 100 vids of him hip checking everyone (including H Sedin). He's a one man wrecking crew.

san jose had 5 power plays in the first period and 'no', I say 'no' goals, they gave canucks lots of confidence in their penalty killing, which spurned the canucks on to the win.
Canucks gave them 5 chances to score 5 goals, and they didn't score 1, san jose made their bed, then
they had to lie in it.

the big push-back in the 3rd did not surprise me, it is expected, no team wants to
lie down and be beaten like that, they will rise to the occasion, and fight back,
just have to give them a little, but take away a lot.

that was very sweet when they showed how henrik purposely passed the puck to couture,
causing too many men on the ice, what smarts that is.

Now maybe we've finally heard the end of the bashing of the Bros. Sedin.
P.S. and Lu too!

Thanks for the update.

Being an old B.C. boy, Petros, I thought you'd be glued to every game on the T.V.
