My problem is not necessarily with there being rules, my problem is that ONLY Israel is expected to abide by them.

And when the enemy hides among the people, and brags about how eager their own people are for death, you are left with little choice.

The truth is NO MILITARY ON EARTH has EVER gone as far as the IDF to avoid civilian casualties.

That said, the primary responsibility of the IDF is to defend ISRAELIS, not Gazans.

Okay, I will play the devils advocate.

How can anyone negotiate with an entity who bargains with no faith.....ie the settlements?

While, as I have stated, I am not a fan of Hamas or Islam it's not like Israel has been the greatest on keeping promises.

They have no one to negotiate with in Gaza.

There are no settlements in Gaza.

In 2005, when Israel abandoned Gaza, they took all the settlers with them.....by force. They also destroyed 5 settlements in the West Bank as a gesture of good faith, Sharon's desperate gamble for peace.

What happened??

So Israel has never done anything wrong?

According to who? Maybe more is expected of Israel, I'll grant you that. That's not an unfair expectation, you've posted reasons to laud them yourself.

And when the enemy hides among the people, and brags about how eager their own people are for death, you are left with little choice.

Don't kid yourself, there is always a choice. Some of the greatest figures in history are great because they took the more difficult choice(s). Anyone who can figure out something lasting in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict will indeed be remembered as great.

Bombing a building with civilians in it because there were a few Hamas there simply makes more terrorists. That's not great.

hide behind the skirts of school girls
So Israel's tons of bombs are actually like a breath of fresh air gently lifting the 'skirt up' and exposing the 'terrorists'.
If the Dome worked so well why all the work go grab this new buffer-zone? They expecting kids to throw rubble more than a km?

What was Israel suppose to do?

Nothing?

Give in to the demands of terrorists?

Perhaps it's time for the people of Gaza to fight the real enemy.....Hamas.

That steel plate used to allow the brain to unthaw for a few days per year. Is that a past event?

Today, the death of Palestinians civilians, children and adults seeking refuge in a school, is inexcusable. War crimes are war crimes.

Gaza is actually taking orders from America's First Nations. The secret smoke signals have this coded message..

About 1966 or so, a NASA team doing work for the Apollo moon mission took the astronauts near Tuba City where the terrain of the Navajo Reservation looks very much like the Lunar surface. With all the trucks and large vehicles there were two large figures that were dressed in full Lunar spacesuits.

Near by a Navajo sheep herder and his son where watching the strange creatures walk about, occasionally being tended by personnel. The two Navajo people were noticed and approached by the NASA personnel. Since the man did not know English, his son asked for him what the strange creatures were and the NASA people told them that they are just men that are getting ready to go to the moon. The man became very excited and asked if he could send a message to the moon with the astronauts.

The NASA personnel thought this was a great idea so they rustled up a tape recorder. After the man gave them his message they asked his son to translate. His son would not.

Later, they tried a few more people on the reservation to translate, and every person they asked would chuckle and then refuse to translate. Finally, with cash in hand someone translated the message: "Watch out for these guys, they come to take your land."

In this case they know they won't be prosecuted so it is just showing how inhumane they can be when give 'free reign' (the Rothschild family rather than this small collection of wayward Jews. If nothing else it would mean the people in Gaza would be helping to build the wall, if they had anything to work with that is.

What "right" is there among the human shields of Gaza? What "right" is going to help them? In case you hadn't noticed, the "right" is cheering on Dizzy Izzy in her effort to make enemies of all of them
