That's debateable, both performance and who it actually works for, it's also very expensive compared to the competition. I think it,s fair to say that the US military has kept pace with the rest of the country in deterioration.
there was much talk about what Donald trump grabbed. he grabbed the presidency. in regards to the republicans, to coin a phrase: the redcoats are cuming.

I think the doubters and worriers in the world will be in for a pleasant surprise, much more so than if Hillary had won.

When Trump institutes his tax plan, rich people sure will suffer. All the way to the bank (which they own).
I'm just pleased that it turned out the way I predicted. Trump won, and the stock markets went to hell.

So now a US brain surgeon in a children's hospital can now legally operate on children while high. Wow, you folks are so well ahead now.
This and many more, less thought out, spontaneous solutions to problems to come to light. Elect a person that fixes one problem and adopt incompetance in a hundred other more serious issues calling for tact.

As for diplomacy, Hillary may be somewhat better at that but she was a hawk and that was another knock against her.....
I suggested for them to elect Sylvester Stallone, and they did not respond; I suggested that both Hilary and Trump put in the face of the hurricane, and they did not agree; now I suggest lodging him in a spaceship to the outer space according to the program of NASA. :laughing6:
