Why do so many leftists struggle to condemn Hamas? Why do so-called progressives make excuses for Jew-killing, misogynistic, gay-bashing Islamists? It’s a long and damning story. Here, Tom Slater traces the history of the Islamo-left, an unholy alliance between left-wingers and Islamists that has once again burst out into the open following the pogrom in Israel on 7 October.

Lefty’s are all Jew haters. Seeing innocent Jewish kids slaughtered brings it out in the lefty’s.

Nah, the only thing it brings out is compassion, empathy and a wish for ALL the bullshit to stop, not just for Jewish kids but Palestinian kids.

The ones who REALLY get it 'brought out' is the right types when Arab/Towelhead/Mooslims or whatever bigoted, racist little wordplay they want to use, die because of extremists in their own religion. The forest of Boners that happen with that is disgusting but consistent.

CNN: where if you haven’t got a lie to report by 08:00, you invent one.

As opposed to the truthful Fox, OANN, or Newsmax?

Police issue 'wanted' poster in attack on Jewish woman

Police have put out an image of a suspect wanted for the alleged hate-motivated assault of Olga Goldberg.
It started with an alleged assault over a hostage poster that now has police issuing a wanted poster.

Olga Goldberg was punched and had her poster of a kidnap victim taken by Hamas terrorists on Oct. 7 ripped up. She was trying to shine some light on the plight of one of those abducted — her daughter’s friend, Mia Schem.

It felt like whoever did this to Olga was going to skate.

A development Wednesday may change that.

Toronto Police have put out a wanted picture of a suspect and are on the hunt for him.

Olga Goldberg was punched in the punch Sunday for merely holding a poster of a female hostage in Gaza who is a friend of her daughter

“The Toronto Police Service is making the public aware of a man wanted in a suspected hate-motivated assault investigation,” police said in a release Wednesday. “The suspect is described as male, 40-60 years old, 5-foot-9, and wearing a black coat, blue baseball hat and a blue medical mask.”

All of this stemmed from an incident at University Ave. and College Street on Oct. 29 when, according to police, “the victim was standing on the sidewalk while observing a demonstration, holding a Canadian flag and a poster of an Israeli hostage” when the suspect, along with four or five other males, allegedly “surrounded and yelled at the victim” and then “proceeded to punch the victim, rip her poster, and stomp on her Canadian flag” before fleeing the scene like rats.

Olga was bloodied. There was a large bruise on her mouth and her eye was bleeding. She was shaken up.

“They ripped the poster in half and also stomped on my Canadian flag,” said Goldberg at the time. “That upset me more than being punched because this is about a 21-year-old girl who is still a hostage.”

It upset a lot of people, including MP Kevin Vuong, MPP Goldie Ghamari and Senate staffer and well known journalist and broadcaster, Jacqui Delaney, who expressed their outrage about it.

They all spoke out about it and Toronto Police stayed on top of it. I give them full credit for their determination in making sure anti-Semites understand it’s not open season on Jewish people or businesses.

You will be caught. Toronto Police have shown that with recent arrests and charges.

Now, the next step is to make an arrest of the person who police believe violated both Olga and Mia.

This was anti-Semitism at it’s worst. It was shocking at the time, but we have seen so much more since.

Toronto Police Chief Myron Demkiw and Deputy Chief Lauren Pogue have warned protesters that just because you don’t get arrested at the rally or protest, does not mean you are home free.

They have videos and they are going through them. Toronto Police now have 34 officers in the Hate Crimes Unit.

“This investigation is being treated as a suspected hate-motivated offence,” said TPS. “When suspected hate-motivated offences are reported to police, the investigation will be led by a divisional investigator. The Hate Crime Unit will be made aware and specialized officers from that unit will support the investigation as needed.”

What’s needed most is for someone who can identify this man to drop a dime to police at 416-808-3500, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477), or at http://222tips.com so he can be arrested and charged.

Olga Goldberg holds up a poster of Gaza hostage Mia, her daughter's friend, who was kidnapped Oct. 7

With his mug out there for all to see, stay tuned. We just might have another story to write soon.

But even more important to Olga is the well-being of Mia and the other hostages. She said she feels some things are worth taking a punch over — even from a gutless coward who would attack a woman trying to save lives.

But what’s needed now are changes to two posters. One that says “released” and one that says “arrested.”

Stay tuned.

In the days following the Hamas massacre of roughly 1,200 innocents in Israel near the Gaza border on Oct. 7, the Black liberation movement in the West chose its side. It stood with the Palestinians, and vehemently opposed Israel, which in the movement’s view is an oppressive, settler-colonial state that has obstructed the path to freedom in the Middle East.
The Chicago branch of Black Lives Matter tweeted a photo depicting a paraglider, a Palestinian flag and the words, “I stand with Palestine.” It later deleted the image, stating “we aren’t proud” of the message, but the words stung. BLM Grassroots characterized the terrorist attack as a “desperate act of self-defense.” BLM Canada, meanwhile, stated it was “horrified by the widespread violence, torture and murder inflicted on innocent civilians across Palestinian lands,” refusing to name the state of Israel.

Neither Israel nor Hamas had announced an extension to the truce, and both had said repeatedly in the previous 24 hours that their forces were ready to resume fighting.

Israel’s military announced on Friday morning that it was dividing the entirety of Gaza into dozens of numbered blocks as a prelude, it said, to demanding targeted local evacuations in the crowded south of the strip before planned bombing. It dropped leaflets on to Gaza with a QR code to a website with a map of all the areas and geolocating people within them.

Humanitarian groups said on Friday that a plan to divide and attack the south, where 2 million people were sheltering, risked stretching Gaza to breaking point. “There is fundamentally nowhere for people to go,” said Danila Zizi, the Palestine country manager for the charity Humanity and Inclusion.

Israel blamed Hamas for breaking the ceasefire with a barrage of rockets from Gaza aimed at southern Israel shortly before the truce was due to expire at 7am on Friday. There was no immediate comment from Hamas or claim of responsibility for the launch.

According to most human rights groups, it has. Israel as just as 'colonial' as the UK, France and other Euro nations 'back in the day'. Just because it's 2023 doesn't mean it's not colonial.

The Chicago branch of Black Lives Matter tweeted a photo depicting a paraglider, a Palestinian flag and the words, “I stand with Palestine.” It later deleted the image, stating “we aren’t proud” of the message, but the words stung.

There's nothing wrong with standing with Palestine. It's standing with Hamas that is the issue. People need to stop this BS of the two are equal somehow.

BLM Grassroots characterized the terrorist attack as a “desperate act of self-defense.”

No.

It was a terrorist attack. Period.

There are other ways to have 'self defense' against oppressive government's like the Israeli one. Terrorism does nothing to help what so ever. The only acceptable reason for Hamas to "attack" was if Israel had done so first. Sure, one man's terrorism is another's freedom fighters but that doesn't make what happened acceptable either.

BLM Canada, meanwhile, stated it was “horrified by the widespread violence, torture and murder inflicted on innocent civilians across Palestinian lands,” refusing to name the state of Israel.

Good; Israel doesn't deserve the recognition for it.

But then neither does Hamas.

Neither Israel nor Hamas had announced an extension to the truce, and both had said repeatedly in the previous 24 hours that their forces were ready to resume fighting.

... and if they had internet maybe people would get to see the website.

Fucking morons.

Pretty much; so people will break, and push through the border. Which will overwhelm it, which means there will be retaliation... oh hey, there's Israel's excuse to continue killing civilians.

Israel blamed Hamas for breaking the ceasefire with a barrage of rockets from Gaza aimed at southern Israel shortly before the truce was due to expire at 7am on Friday. There was no immediate comment from Hamas or claim of responsibility for the launch.

Wasn't there already back and forth before the truce ended between the two?

Still has nothing on the old Empires.
Are you sure the largest country in the world wasn't established post 14th century? Catherine the great Peter the great anyone? Or do you remember the USSR?

How about 2014 Ukraine? Or Crimea via the Cossacks in the 15-16th century? Or Siberia again via the Cossacks? Ever heard of Kamchatka again via the Cossacks?

Or do you mean as old as the Egyptian or Roman empire that colonized the Jewish state pre Christ (BC)

Are you sure the largest EMPIRE in the world - with the "The Sun Never Sets" tagged to it?

Russia was a large country, didn't have much for colonies, not like other places.

USSR was as close to 'colonization' as it got and still didn't match the British Empire.

Unless you're talking something else, TM, no one really matched the UK for Colonialism. Closest after that was France, then Portugal.

Russia was 7 on the list.

Now if we're talking Full on Empires:

Russia is there, but the UK still had more.

I thought we were talking colonialism which Russia is attempting to do right now which is by far the best example of the point you are trying to make. Israel is far from a colonialist the Hebrew's have the first known footprint in that area building their first temple many centuries before the Muslim's (Palestinians) built on top of both the 1st and 2nd temple

We were.

which Russia is attempting to do right now which is by far the best example of the point you are trying to make.

Okay, bit more clarification. Appreciated.

But I was talking about colonialism 'back in the day'.

And just because it's 2023 doesn't make it not a colonial thing.

Your point about Russia is valid.

So's mine 'bout Israel.

Israel is far from a colonialist

By definition, it absolutely is a colonialist nation.

the Hebrew's have the first known footprint in that area building their first temple many centuries before the Muslim's (Palestinians) built on top of both the 1st and 2nd temple

And that matters diddly and squat.

The areas settled by Palestinians are supposed to belong TO Palestinians. Israel has shoved settlers onto their land in violation of agreements and international laws. They are colonizing the area, pushing the native people out.

BTW the land belonged to BOTH Palestinians - or rather the ancestors of - and the ancestors of Israeli's. Israel doesn't have the sole claim to the region.

You're joking right? Are you really trying to blame the Jewish people of occupying the land of their ancestors? The country of Jordon belongs to the Palestinians why don't you blame them?

In the map you can see the city of Rostov that is the beginning of the city of Moscow and the start of the Russian state from their they became the largest country in the world through conquest otherwise known as occupiers

LOL!

No, I'm absolutely NOT blaming Jewish people for occupying the land of their ancestors.

I'm blaming them for trying to push colonization onto OTHERS who have occupied the land of THEIR ancestors, too.

Now you're the one joking.

Jordan was MADE to be Palestinian land. It's Arab land, has been, etc, etc. Blame Jordan for what, exactly? The only thing to blame Jordan for is not doing ENOUGH for the Palestinian people. But that said Jordan is one of the rare voices of sense in the region.

I already have, you just typically ignored it.

But sure, we can end this debate if you want.

Get back to the point of the original issue - Israel is a colonizing Country trying to take over the lands granted to the Palestinian people - illegally - and denying such is a sign of ignorance about one of the biggest issues of the entire reason for the conflict.
