Well, it actually happened, so you just learned something new.
It was a sloppy mess. They were militia manoevers west of Montreal in a sandy-wooded area West of Montrael island called Hudson, neighbouring on St.Lazare. The Scouts used the same woods (probably still do). The guilty unit would either be the Royal Montreal Regiment, the Black Watch or the Hussars ... don't know which ones did it. They left live 7.62mm rounds on the ground and even a practise grenade! Some NCO should have been sacked for that and may very well have been. Sloppy soldiering and sloppy counting ... Every time that I shot, I had to account for everything round, always. Maybe to avoid crap like that.

By the way, what motivation could I possibly have for making a story like that up? Seriously. Think it through. I gain nothing but when pricks like you start calling me a liar, You gain another enemy on here. I'm sick to death of bring trolled. Most of the trolls on here are a marble or two short.
