Clearly, the Zimmerman Defence Fund didn't get many contributions.
The option would be to run. If pursued and cornered then self defense comes to mind. Self defense could cut both ways in this case. Who knows.

Hmmm. . . would this mean that your "character" is of the type that tries to tell an entire country of people how they should think?
Why limit myself to an entire country? I assume on this forum I am addressing Canadians, but I'd just as soon tell all Americans to stop treating this murder trial like a political contest between Democrats and Republicans.

Truth? Ski, the whole purpose of the rules of evidence is to obscure the truth.Personally, this will be a show trial with lots of theatre and whatnot (they need a better comedian as the opening act). The jury will deliberate and hopefully come to a reasonable verdict based ONLY on the evidence presented and then deliver a verdict one way or the other. No matter what the verdict is, there will be considerable number of people who will rally or protest or riot because they feel the jury got it wrong. It won't be like OJ where a killer goes free to search golf courses for the mysterious real killer.
But does anybody actually believe this trial will in any way shape of form uncover the truth?
What's my oi vey in regards to?From the man who opines on every thread in the forum and denigrates anybody's opinion that differs from his own:roll:
It must be why so many people KNOW what they can't possibly know. I think you've got to fall in one of those political camps to have decided this trial ahead of time.
The prosecutor, however, disputed elements of Zimmerman's story, including his claim that Martin put his hands over Zimmerman's mouth and reached for the man's gun. Guy said none of Zimmerman's DNA was found on Martin's body, and none of the teenager's DNA was on the weapon or the holster.
But West said that doesn't prove anything, arguing that crime-scene technicians didn't properly protect Martin's hands from contamination.
What makes you think I've decided this trial ahead of time?
