Now that Libyans have overthrown and killed their dictator (with extensive help from NATO), they are no longer united by fear. I hope they can get their act together.

BTW, this civil war should be a model for all future NATO interventions. Compared to the cost of the Iraq war fiasco, getting rid of Ghadaffi was a real bargain. (financial/political)

1) The intervention must have popular support of the people.
2) No official deployment of soldiers on the ground. (supporting covert operations only)
3) Overwhelming firepower from the air directed by the rebels on the ground
4) Early official recognition of the rebels as the legitimate government.

It's like comparing grapes to water melons, Kadaffy was pretty light weight, actually a "choir boy" compared to Saddam, you wanna get rid of the mean cats you gotta pay the bucks!

Monday morning quarterbacking is so easy. In reality, ever situation is different. One-size-fits-all approaches rarely fit all.

Really - check how many wars he started - how many he killed - Fukim. And I am not rrying to insult you - just how i look upon his kind
It's cool..

Mubarak (deposed), OBL, al-Awlaki, Ghadaffi croaked - enemies of America are dropping like ducks on the pond. Strange how the right wing isn't giving President Obama much credit for that. Why do you suppose this is so?

I give Obama credit where it's due, the death of Bin Laden came because he continued the policies fighting Terrorism from Fmr President Bush and unlike Fmr President Clinton Obama had the courage to green light the Seal incursion to take out Bin Laden..

The fall of Gaddafi was a NATO operation and Obama deserves credit for taking part, so now what are NATO and Obama going to do about Syria?

You forgot the part where we don't discriminate in favour of states that have oil or provide an economic benefit.

US Liberals and Democrats want all the credit though. They still haven't acknowledged that Canada led this whole bombing campaign.

Uganda is at 173 out of 205! No wonder why we have combat EQUIPPED Special Forces there!

Uganda's proximity to the new country of South Sudan is key in the whole equation. So far, for Northern Sudan the LRA has been a convenient, weaponized firewall against Western puppet Museveni. But most of all, this whole area is prime real estate where the fierce battle between China and the Americans/Europeans plays out, centered on oil and minerals, all part of the Great 21st Century African Resource War.

Why US Forces are in Uganda

The ground invasion of Lybia by NATO will now commence with tanks gas and poison followed by legions of stinking carpet bagging bankers. The loyal Lybians will win in the end.

How much Pot do you actually smoke in a day? When you're not chewing tinfoil that is:lol:

Where the hell is "Lybia"? Is that a new country just started up?

I watched Gaddafi's capture and execution this morning and it was hardly
civilized. It was like a pack of wild animals in a feeding frenzy.

Easy Juan that pack of animals is our pack of animals. When Canada wakes up to reality our streets will be filled with dogs like these, some from this forum are fit for that purpose and probably waiting for the chance for some boot and slash work. You watched a BS flick jammed together so Hilary Dick Head Clinton could beam before the cameras of the bank slave world.
