On the whole, its hard to get broken up about his death, but I can't help but think the news will be a little less colorful now. Ghadaffi may have been an evil bastard but he was interesting in a way Hugo Chavez and the US presidential candidates just don't match...

He's the Arab version of Kim Jong Il, and Kim Jong Il is a crazy as they get.

Well, sic semper tyrannus, i guess... shot then dragged wounded out of sewer drain.. stripped and kicked around for a while then executed. At least that's the picture i'm getting. I also saw Harper taking an undue amount of credit for a great 'victory'.. which was really a pathetic piece of cruelty to end a cruel regime.. and a premonition that the Lybians might not be in for something much better for a long while.

Libya's interim prime minister confirms that former leader Muammar Gaddafi has been killed after troops seized his hometown Sirte.

If Harper is trying to take credit or glorify himself........then he is more barbaric than the USG.and some in the backward parts of the planet. It is known that the US loves to ;kill , via war , assassination etc...... but until now Canada has managed to maintain some semblance of civility. Not any more. What an idiot. We should just send him to the US as that is where he would fit and be happy -given he is so enthralled with their primitive policies and politics.

another horrific death orchestrated by the invaders and occupiers. One can suppose this is why the US / Nato love wars.......as they can then permit themselves to behave with a different and more barbaric set of "rules".....

does that make you all rejoice at this gruesome death of a human being. The perversion of the laws (legal and humanitarian) goes beyond the pale now. ) There are no laws ..Those that do rejoice at this barbaric conduct are no better than the one they slaughtered . .There is no distinction between how he killed and tortured and how he was tortured and killed.

I guess "playing god" comes very easy to those the execute these acts.

IF that is the case........one can be assured these country men were completely supported by the invaders. They would not have tried it without the tacit support from the invaders.

and yes......any form of barbarism is disgusting......regardless of who commits it. Too bad that some are so blase about these killings they appear to have lost their point of ethical center.

Poor Gadaffi, you should send his family flowers.

Yep........ One can safely assume that this is how he thought as he committed his crimes of humanity.

I don't care one way or the other. But he's dead. Dead.

He was alive and yammering to the boys when they dragged him off the back of the pick-up but now he's dead.

Not to worry, I'm working on finding the kill shot video.

It won't be very gruesome though.

If you want that kinda thing I'll give you the link for the recent Mexican chainsaw/knife beheadings.

So people who commit mass murders, who refuse to surrender and are killed when people try to capture him is wrong. What should the people have done, let him return to power, prepare their throats to be cut and waited for the cut. Patiently of course.
