American Stinker would be more appropriate. It is too bad that people are to stupid to regulate their own lives. It is unfortunate that their government believes it needs to regulate sanity. It is also too bad that the right wing thinks that being stupid is a right and freedom.

Did I say all right wingers were stupid? No. But the author certainly seems to think so, along with his supporters. The American Stinker is decidedly one sided, one dimensional in its Stinking. Just providing a second dimension. Although I think politics is a joke, the right seem to provide the most material for laughs.
Of course, lacking valid arguments, the Left, predictably resorts to tepid puns and name-calling.
And then demean people for not "regulating their own lives", while they would deny an individual the chance to do so, unless, of course that individual would opt to be a greenie and live in the bushes while using electricity and computers. And let us not forget the Left Wing's contention (at least based on the above post) is that anyone who don't follow their ideas are stupid and insane. The Left, again, based on Cliffy's post think that anyone who don't agree with them have no right to express their opinion, or if they do they are stupid.
Of course it is far easier to be obstinate than reading a post and reply in a responsible, adult manner.
It is unfortunate that the left wingers are so without merit as to be difficult to find humour in. The right, on the other hand, are loud and obnoxious and leave themselves open to ridicule. I did say it is unfortunate that the government finds it necessary to regulate sanity. Of course, I do agree with one thing, people should have the right to screw up the planet for future generations - I just think it is stupid to do so.
Not everything is black and right, Jack. There are gray areas, like no political affiliations does not make one a lefty, just like not believing in religion does not make one an atheist.

The slippery slope is even more ludicrous. Nazis were taking people away, never to be seen again. They were not passing laws to conserve energy, or attempting to address public health concerns. The partisan comparisons of everything to Nazi Germany are frequently lacking context, and this one is no different.
