Last week, many of the aboriginal people in the remote west coast village of Ahousaht were innoculated with the tamiflu vaccine. Today, over a hundred of them are sick, and the sickness is spreading.
In the same week, body bags were sent to similarly remote native reserves in northern Manitoba that have also received the tamiflu vaccine.
On the face of things, it appears that flu vaccinations are causing a sickness that is being deliberately aimed at aboriginal people across Canada, and this sickness will be fatal: a fact acknowledged by the Canadian government by their “routine” sending of body bags to these Indian villages.

It's routine to send body bags,nothing out of the ordinary there.This was explained many times by health care proffessionals weeks ago when it first happened.

But if it can add some fearmongering to the cause then go for it,seems everyones doing it these days.

Can tell you are not aboriginal and haven't been through the residential schools. It is easy to dismiss what others have had to go through from your privileged white heritage.

I lived and worked with the Innuit for years,Two years ago 27 of them got cheques for the res school fiasco,not one was abused,most were happy to get out in the world.

Even the elders said it was a waste of money and harmfull to the people.

Sorry but I dont judge peeps by skin color or race,we all bleed the same color.

My Inuk name is Umilik by the way.;-)

Well, considering that tamiflu IS NOT A VACCINE, but rather, a very expensive anti-viral, given only once exposure has occurred, it's not much of a surprise that people are getting ill. It may be a good medicine (of that I'm unsure, I don't trust many meds), but, it never claims to cure 100% of the cases it's given to.

Tamiflu is the trade name of a prescribed antiviral medication.
It is taken orally and only works in the early stages of a viral infection.
Relenza is another well known antiviral but if memory serves it is used via an inhaler.
Tamiflu is not a vaccine nor will it ever be.

The innoculated vacine is not ready yet and we are told by health Canada that immunization will start to take place around October/November.
So Cliffy it appears you have no idea what you are talking about.

I didn't write the article, I just posted it. I figured it would cause controversy, which is what we do here on CanCon, is it not? After reading so much pro and con, I realized that nobody on here knows what is going on and the issue is just as muddy as it ever was.

pro and con?

There's no pros or cons to the government having to send out body bags and medications due to the crowded and contained nature of the life of first nations people. While I don't believe for one second that the government is trying to pull something, and I wish people would leave the past in the past so that a workable future can be finally realized, it saddens and upsets me that people remain fed this bull so that they will continue their life of hiding as second class citizens.

There is something about a pastor preaching fear to a population that rankles me. "Don't trust your government, don't trust your doctors, only trust your church." There's no pros and cons here, just a constant circle of fear and exploitation, hidden behind a thin veil of concern.

Whoever wrote the article sure doesn't know what's going on.
