Elon Musk Sends SpaceX Engineers to Aid Soccer Team Trapped in Thai Cave
Thai officers supervise the rescue mission inside Tham Luang Nang Non cave on June 28, 2018 in Chiang Rai, Thailand. Twelve boys and their soccer coach have been trapped in the cave for nearly two weeks and rescue workers are working to get them out of the cave.

Elon Musk is sending engineers from his SpaceX and The Boring Co. companies to aid in the rescue of a youth soccer team in Thailand that's trapped in a cave and running out of time.

Somehow I doubt a spaceship is going to be much help. Should get a couple of miners. Might not be as newsworthy but they will get the job done.

The pumps they are using to pump out the water is no where near big enough for the job, they should be using pumps that have three times the pumping capacity of the ones they are using.
Just goes to show you how poorly staffed they are for this recovery mission.

Without the engineering skills and computations..... not even miners would tackle this job.

Thai authorities early Sunday said they would begin an hours-long process of extracting a group of 12 young boys and their soccer coach who have been stranded in a flooded cave in northern Thailand for more than two weeks. The group will dive out one at a time, each accompanied by members of a team of international and Thai divers. The rescue will start as soon as possible, officials said, and will likely be complete by Sunday night.
