Kids submarine on way to Thailand to save lives.

A dark day for the white nationalists - for some reason.

the whole world except the white nationalist climate change deniers - who would rather see you dead than saved by a liberal billionaire.
Those that are vulgar enough to make this a left / right/ political issue.....are not worthy of the oxygen they breathe

It is as simple as that. The lack of humanity in that type of mindset is evident and speaks for itself.

Well, that's just what Hoid did. But he's been a piece of shit since the moment he got here.

Meanwhile, it's good to hear some of the kids have already been rescued. That's amazing. Hope the rest don't have to wait long either.

The Thai's have already rescued some of the kids without your eco-hero. But then again, f*cktard racists don't think Brown people are smart enough to help themselves without Whitey coming in and showing them how it's done. Isn't that right you racist cracker.

If you followed my posts here you'd know that I'm always right.

Wrong country you short-sighted boob although you are partially correct in that I'm a volunteer with neighbourhood emergency response-quite unlike you.
Does that make you special ?

The pumps they are using to pump out the water is no where near big enough for the job, they should be using pumps that have three times the pumping capacity of the ones they are using.
Just goes to show you how poorly staffed they are for this recovery mission.

Right - Thailand should have made sure it had pumps capable of emptying several miles of caves just in case they got flooded with a boy's soccer team stuck in them.

Operation two in progress. Here is hooping it is as successful as the first one.

Considering the challenges........that first one was absolutely brilliant. Kudos to the wonderful highly skilled divers......and rescue organizers..

just watched a story on this and one diver goes in front and the kid is tethered to him and the second diver follows behind. There are a number of air pockets along the way but they are not reliable.

Its a 5 hour trip through water that looks like double double coffee and is impossible to see through.Done mostly by feel.

Without the engineering skills and computations..... not even miners would tackle this job.

Come on.....credit where credit is due. If the naysayers have a better plan that would work ........let's hear it. or better still get over there and HELP them out.

Mining engineers maybe. If there was a real miner directing the show. A spaceship imagineer would not be of much use.

When those trapped miners made the news a few years ago, my internet buddy had a hilarious line...

"I wonder if any of them made the 'Mile Below Club'. :)

Are you praying for a disaster again?

If you mean the ones in Chile I worked with the driller that made their rescue hole. Guy by the name of Charlie. He came to Campbell River to do a raise bore on the tunnel there.

We can't know for sure........ but at the very least it is a caring gesture. And should be appreciated in the same spirit.

Here is hoping the remaining five are rescued just as efficiently as the first eight.

but so far : what an impressive job done by divers from around the world.......... Theirs is a life altering powerful experience where a special bonding is happening to. Talk about cool under pressure. Ever so skilled.

We should know tomorrow am........ as they are preparing for the current rescue mission now.

Musk has never shied away from a challenge. I like the idea his team came up with. It would seem to me to be a better solution for non swimmers.
