Thai cave rescue: Soccer team all out of cave --

https://www.cbsnews.com/live-news/t...-of-cave-in-thailand-2018-07-10-live-updates/

Wonderful...... now wishing them all a speedy recovery : physically, emotionally etc.

There is a CDN connection to this rescue. Graphics designers ...... created a model of the cave that included many aspects that could not be seen or anticipated. Sorry, forget the name of the company innovated.

The heroes are the organizers and the divers. Incredible. There are no superlatives for this caliber of rescue.

The supreme egotist/arrogant shithead Musk puts his foot in further-what a tool

Elon Musk has questioned the expertise of Thai rescue officials who turned down his offer of a submarine, despite their having organised the successful rescue of all 12 boys and their football coach from a flooded cave.

The entrepreneur had offered his help and posted footage of tests being carried out on the apparatus he proposed in recent days.

But while Narongsak Osatanakorn, the head of the joint command centre co-ordinating the operation, acknowledged Musk’s offer he said that the mini submarine would not have been practical for the cave rescue.

“Even though their equipment is technologically sophisticated, it doesn’t fit with our mission to go in the cave,” Osatanakorn told reporters.

In response, Musk said Osatanakorn was “not the subject matter expert”, adding that he believed he had been “inaccurately described as rescue chief”, and should be more accurately referred to as the “former Thai provincial governor”.

Osatanakorn stepped down as the governor of Chiang Rai during the rescue operation, but remained its commander.

Musk might have money......but has little class. I gave him credit for making the offer of help. but he can't seem to do that with any dignity ..

Thee Thai group involved in this rescue showed the world what class, skills, intelligence .integrity dignity and true HUMANITY is.

Too bad. There are things that money cannot buy......perhaps that is just as well.

The important thing is that NOTHING can take away form the FANTASTIC SUCCESS of this operation. World class......... and you don't hear them bragging about it either. The wonderful results speak for themselves......and against so many odds. and exceptional challenges.Let's not forget the British who found them.

As Kinder Morgan updates Trans Mountain construction schedule, opponents say Canada is going backwards on climate change

It anticipates that work will begin in Alberta in August and the North Thompson region of B.C. in late September. But the company also noted that it still needs local construction permits and authorization to proceed.

Aren't you tired of being wronge and being schooled all the time?

my theory is that white nationalist climate change deniers feel threatened by Musk and his witchcraft-based electric automobile.

Naw, they just don't like having their hard-earned money stolen from their pockets by the state and used to subsidize a rich guy's expensive car, sold by another rich guy.......while they are driving a 2004 Honda Civic.

Progressives are such hypocrites.

Musk is an arsehole, and his tweet confirms the fact.
