Re: GOP Candidate in 2012
It will probably take decades to recover from the absolute disaster left behind by The Honorable George Bush, 43rd President of the United States of America. Respect for the nation’s foreign policy has been all-but-abliterated, the national budgetary framework has been made virtually impossible to balance, and domestic issues have been ignored for nearly a decade while fundamental rights and freedoms were eroded in the name of a ‘war’ against terrorism (amongst other things).
There is little that The Honorable Sarah Palin, 11th Governor of Alaska, would be able to offer United States citizens as a presidential candidate, in my view. We can only hope for the sake of global stability and the ideal of international peace that the Republican Party of the United States of America plays no part in a presidency (or the leadership of either legislative chamber) for at least a decade. Given the Republicans’ continued hostility toward the president’s program, I think that it’s reasonable that His Excellency the Honorable Barack Obama, President, be given more time to undo some of the terrible mistakes that were rammed through by previous administrations.
