So why is there slavery still going on in the world today if everybody dropped before the good ole U.S.A. ?
The civilized world did. The French, the British Empire, Spanish, Portugese all ended slavery before the Americans did and when it finally ended, it was immediately replaced with Nazi-like Jim Crow laws that persisted up until a couple of decades ago. As usual, the Republic talks "freedom" but fails to walk the walk. No wonder, the American public felt so much sympathy for Nazi Germany before the Japanese attacked them. They looked at Kristalnacht and thought "Yeah! Them Jews". That all got an amazing rewrite after Pearl Harbour when the Great Anti-Nazi Crusade was invented, while Blacks in America had the same sort of rights as Jews did in the Third Reich.
