To a degree, but I imagine it won't be long before minor procedures start getting postponed and eventually those can turn into major procedures!
They already got delayed once because some expert thought we would need all that hospital space for Covid cases that never materialized. Do you think their computer models are any more accurate this time. BTW did you know that not all of those cases are active but include people that have been tested positive but show no symptoms?

True, but best to treat them (avoid them) as if they are active.

One thing that is not mentioned too much and it IS important is we are talking about two different situations here. One is the coast and Fraser Valley, which are infested with it and the other is the Interior and the North where there are relatively few cases.
