It's not as bad as the Black Plague, so we should completely ignore it. It's not like we've developed our knowledge of medicine since the late middle ages or anything.

Besides, everybody dies, so there's no point in taking any measures to be safe or healthy.

Bring out your dead!

You should never slip your mask over your chin. You will grab contaminants on your chin and return them to your mouth and nose. It will increase your chances of getting covid not lessen. You would likely have to remove it from one ear ... assuming the restaurant is open for more than take out.

I guess I'm just not quite that finicky. :)

Further to that.....why bother having medical teams at all?? One is going to die anyhow, as you say. Let's regress to some barbaric ,primitive time when no one understood anything about diseases........except that it usually hurts, made one horrifically sick , and then die. Laws of nature. Let people suffer in their IGNORANCE.. After all, it is ones'RIGHT to get ill and die

What is so sad........is that the ignorance in the USA has been exposed, defining any image of being a progressive nation. Any scientific progress is isolated . and within small groups.

The tragedy is not just the pandemic............it is the ignorance stupidly, resistance, arrogance

Mind you, CDA has a segment of folks with the same characteristics. They deny, ignore, defy logic and facts. ie The brain dead of society. (the group tat follows conspiracy theories .......and uses them as facts)

Cheer up, 95% of the Americans are the same as you and me. They just quietly go about working and minding their own business and some of them won't even vote for Trump! The ignorant ones just feel they have to make a noise.

COVID-19 Update:

The United States reported 67,413 new cases, with 908 fatalities.
Canada reported 350 cases with 4 fatalities, however Alberta and BC do not report on weekend data until Monday, so the actual number of cases is likely closer to 500.

-The US will most likely hit 150,000 deaths tomorrow.
-California passed New York as the state with the most COVID cases
-Louisiana will pass New York in leading the nation in per-capita COVID cases (2.26%)
-Florida once gain led the nation in new COVID cases
-South Texas has the highest concentration of COVID cases, which is also dealing with a major hurricane.
-Hospitals in South Texas are releasing elderly COVID patients, so they can die with their repective families, as there are no hospital beds left, and in anticipation of the aftermath of the hurricane.

-If Canada was an America state, we would have the third least amount of COVID cases (per-capita), at 0.3%
Would any credit or blame be attacked to this?

Canada is going to emerge from COVID-19 in the best shape of any country in the Western Hemisphere. Thank Health Canada, and our top-notch virologists and policy makers. I am proud to live in Canada, and we are the envy of the Americas.
Really , do you prefer grape or cherry Kool-Aid ?

Isn’t our PM just so dreamy ? We are so lucky to have such a compassionate caring leader of the most honest and transparent government ever .

Trudeau had little to do with implementing the COVID response, other than do what most European countries are handling the COVID pandemic now, as opposed to that moron south of us.
So what is it ? Is the leader of the country responsible or not ?

To a limited degree in that he strongly recommends following the basic rules and imposes severe penalties on those who don't comply. And unlike Trump should be setting a good example!

Truer words were never spoken. While our daily fatalities are in the single digits, in the U.S. they are in the hundreds or more.

Most of the actions were taken by the provinces. If you want to be doling out credit, that is where it should be given. Trudeau was too busy breaking ethics rules to do anything more than restrict travel and close the Canada/US border.

According to a recent TRUMP UNIVERSITY POLL, 89% of Republicans believe President Trump has eliminated the coronavirus in all 63 states. The other 14% believe that coronavirus is a type of non-alcoholic beer.
You are aware that it was Obama that thought there were 63 states aren't you? Can't really blame him though, since he grew up in a democrat controlled education system.
