Nope, they died from complications to pre-existing conditions brought on by Covid-19. It's called comorbidity. As in most countries, most of them didn't die from coronavirus.
Cause you wouldn't make the kind of statement you did if you were.
They’ve tested more people than any other country.U.S. coronavirus cases reach half a million, death toll close to topping world
The country’s case total is greater than those of the three countries with the other highest counts in the world: France, Italy and Spain, which has the second-most cases.

Just me and the wife now.Australia has more people doesn't? There are only like 20 people in NZ aren't there? What is the per capita death stats?
Denial is Blackie's state of constant existence.
He doesn't even understand why deaths that are labeled due to Covid 19 are labeled as such, and it's not really a complicated thing to understand.
You're the one who doesn't understand.
Only getting better .Well, Nut Zone Doug. Australia has been slightly more successful at curtailing the COVID virus:
Cases per 100,000 people:
Australia 24.7
New Zealand 27.2
And what don't I understand, Blackie?
Herd Immunity doesn't work?
Social Distancing or Physical distancing is seen to be the best option we have because the further apart people are, the less likely they are to get infected from someone with Covid 19 whether they are asymptomatic or not?
That there are likely many, many people who are asymptomatic but we don't know for sure because for some reason Governments don't want to 'waste time' testing people who may seem 'healthy'?
Being asymptomatic is the biggest issue (IMO) of this whole ordeal?
People who get Covid 19 die even if they're healthy?
People with immune suppressed, compromised or otherwise inhibited systems are at risk because they're immune system isn't as good to hold up against Covid 19?
Those same people if they get sick have a higher chance of death because of the complications that come of catching Covid 19?
That the respiratory infection and pneumonia you get is of Covid 19 origin?
That even those who get better from Covid now have scarred lung sacs which makes them a little less able to handle respiratory illnesses in the future?
That a person may not get all the known symptoms of Covid 19 but rather they may be varied?
What part don't I get, Blackie? Explain to me where I don't get it?
But your not a doctor , So .But you're not a doctor so...
You can have COPD for years and not die of it. What causes the death is the Covid 19 you catch that ravages your already hampered respiratory system. So Preliminary cause of death is Covid 19, secondary is COPD because it was the underlying issue.
And now people are getting reinfected with Covid, so the whole "Herd Immunity" that BoJo and others hoped for proves to be not so great an idea.
Herd immunity may need to be reconsidered to combat the coronavirus outbreak in the UK, a senior adviser to the Prime Minister warned.
Professor Graham Medley said the prolonged lockdown could cause more harm than the disease with a huge impact on unemployment, domestic violence and mental illness, the Mirror reported.
The Government’s chief pandemic modeller, from Imperial College London, said the country needed to face "the trade-off between harming the young versus the old."
He urged the Government to reconsider allowing people to catch the flu-like virus during herd immunity and build up resistance among the population.
Speaking to the Times, Professor Medley said: “We will have done three weeks of this lockdown so there’s a big decision coming up on April 13.
"In broad terms are we going to continue to harm children to protect vulnerable people, or not?
“The measures to control [the disease] cause harm. The principal one is economic, and I don’t mean to the economy generally, I mean to the incomes of people who rely on a continuous stream of money and their children.”
“If we carry on with lockdown it buys us more time, we can get more thought put into it, but it doesn’t resolve anything — it’s a placeholder,” he added.

Lockdown isn't working.
Not only is it taking away out civil liberties and destroying our economies but it'll likely kill more people than coronavirus.
So your preferred method to combat coronavirus is one that'll kill even more people as well as ruining the economy and putting millions of children on the scrapheap through having no education.
Yeah, genius.
We need to end the lockdown now and introduce herd immunity.
All of it.
What a load of crap.
Someone who thinks they know better than the experts.
In the same four months about 20,000,000, that's 20 million, people have died worldwide. The sky is still falling.
Can we expect your pants-pissing terror of a seventeen-year-old Swedish girl in every thread, regardless of relevance or lack of same?

If that offends you, cupcake, we'll change it to "obsessive," mmm-kay?Pants-pissing?
A touch of perspective normally goes a long way.... Not so much on this issue though
Pants-pissing?
Greta is the best comic relief that we've had in decades.
I'm especially fond of the tantrum thingy, it really adds force to her already comedic performance
You don't die (as in cause of the actual death) from covid-19 just like you don't die from hiv/aids.
it's the complications that are the actual cause of death
