Perhaps but at what cost? We have "greeg" cleaners that don't. We have "green "paint that washes off. We have vehicles that run"clean" or emissions free but gat worse gas milage than my 21 year old diesel truck. How about the wind farms that don't produce enough to pay the upkeep never mind the construction costs. We are in danger of "greening" ourselves into a major disaster.

Oil and coal do not get subsidies in Canada. In fact the various governments charge producers a fee called royalties (AKA taxes)for every drop of oil and every once of coal produced. Unlike wind and solar that get both subsidies and a higher rate for the energy they produce. And most probably the taxpayer will be on the hook for the cleanup costs of all the failed "green" energy producers.

Extrapolating that and similar (little publicized) German and Swedish studies, 39,000 U.S. wind turbines would not be killing “only” 440,000 birds (USFWS, 2009) or “just” 573,000 birds and 888,000 bats (Smallwood, 2013), but 13-39 million birds and bats every year!


However, this carnage is being covered up by self-serving and/or politically motivated government agencies, wind industry lobbyists, environmental groups and ornithologists, under a pile of misleading studies paid for with more taxpayer money.

Spain was championed as the leader in green energy awhile ago suzuki types heaped praise upon their initiative, google spain green economy to get a glimpse into our future. Mcwynne placed energy rates in orbit to cover huge subsidies and now decreases rates ahead of an upcoming election kicking the green can down the road. This deal really places the burden of lib blundering on our kids shoulders they get to pay the freight for lib fiscal bankruptcy.
