Barack Obama
Speaking via satellite to Democratic National Convention, while in Kansas City, Missouri, Aug. 25, 2008.Let me introduce to you the next President -- the next Vice President of the United States of America, Joe Biden.
Barack Obama
Slipping up while introducing Joe Biden at their first joint campaign rally, Springfield, Illinois, Aug. 23, 2008.Just this past week, we passed out of the out of the U.S. Senate Banking Committee -- which is my committee -- a bill to call for divestment from Iran as way of ratcheting up the pressure to ensure that they don't obtain a nuclear weapon.
Barack Obama
Referring to committee he is not on, Sderot, Israel, July 23, 2008.Let me be absolutely clear. Israel is a strong friend of Israel's. It will be a strong friend of Israel's under a McCain...administration. It will be a strong friend of Israel's under an Obama administration. So that policy is not going to change.
Barack Obama
Amman, Jordan, July 22, 2008.How's it going, Sunshine?
Barack Obama
Campaining in Sunshine, Florida. On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes -- and I see many of them in the audience here today -- our sense of patriotism is particularly strong.
Barack Obama
Does Obama see dead people?Hold on one second, sweetie, we're going to do -- we'll do a press avail.
Barack Obama
To female reporter for ABC's Detroit affiliate who asked about his plan to help American autoworkers.I've now been in 57 states -- I think one left to.
Barack Obama
At US presidential campaign event in Beaverton, Oregon. Why can't I just eat my waffle?
Barack Obama
Asked a foreign policy question by reporter while visiting a diner in Pennsylvania during 2008 US presidential campaign .It's not surprising, then, they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.
Barack Obama
Explaining his troubles winning over some working-class voters during 2008 US presidential campaign. The point I was making was not that Grandmother harbors any racial animosity. She doesn't. But she is a typical white person, who, if she sees somebody on the street that she doesn't know, you know, there's a reaction that's been bred in our experiences that don't go away and that sometimes come out in the wrong way, and that's just the nature of race in our society.
Barack Obama
Explaining comments about his grandmother in 2008 US presidential campaign. In those comments he described her as "a woman who once confessed her fear of black men who passed by her on the street, and who on more than one occasion has uttered racial or ethnic stereotypes that made me cringe".Come on! I just answered, like, eight questions.
Barack Obama
Exasperated by reporters after news conference during 2008 US presidential camapaign. You're likeable enough, Hillary.
Barack Obama
Derisive remark about Democratic rival candidate for the US presidency Hillary Clinton, made during 2008 Democratic debate. In case you missed it, this week, there was a tragedy in Kansas. Ten thousand people died -- an entire town destroyed.
Barack Obama
On Kansas tornado that killed 12 people, 2007 speech blunder. My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world. I hope you'll join with me as we try to change it.
Barack Obama
Though widely attributed to Obama, he NEVER SAID IT. Mark Steyn, writing in The Huffington Riposte, says they are the words of Canadian reader John Gross who sent him an all-purpose stump speech for the 2008 campaign, containing the quote. Steyn posted it on the web at National Review, and next thing the line was being attributed not to his correspondent, but to Sen. Obama.Ok, look, you know, when I was a kid, I inhaled frequently. That was the point.
Barack Obama
Confessing to drug use to audience of US magazine editors, November 2006.

Thanks again, President Bush

The Kyoto Protocol went into effect in February 2005. George W. Bush was excoriated by the left for not signing on and acquiescing to the global warming hysteria.
All of us can recall how President Bush was called all sorts of names and accused of wanting to destroy the world. Even some nominal Republicans fell for the “settled science” and got on board the climate change express.
Nonetheless, George Bush remained firm in his refusal to allow the United States to destroy its economy and standard of living for what has now turned out to be a political movement not one based on science.
With the exposure of the global warming hoax through the release of the CRU emails, we should offer a toast to the much maligned President George W. Bush and thank him for not committing the United States to similar disastrous actions that our counterparts in Europe fell for.
The delay allowed the truth to come out as it always does.

Maybe I'm colorblind or something but....

....I really just don't see a whole lot of difference to determine
who is better or not yet. Bush Jr plugged in his two terms, &
Obama hasn't completed 1/4 of a term at this point. Lets wait
and see what happens.

I wonder who has better reading comprehension? And the degree of difficulty?

Hey Tonington, isn't this the famous 'nero fiddles while rome burns' photo that was taken of the jerk, while a plane was crashing into the Pentagon, another into a field in Pennslyvannia, and the towers were on fire?

Did you happen to notice that the book Bush is holding is upside down????:lol::lol:

Wow! The White House sure has weird phones. Ugly clocks, too.

Um, Bush was better? Better at what? Being a jerk? I agree. Obama seems like a nice guy.

We have a standing disagreement about statistics, JLM. You don’t think much of statistics, while in my opinion, they give us useful valuable information.

Yes, very useful to the person who sets the parameters, generally useless to everyone else.

Providing they say what you want. All other stats are from the right wing and really not reliable.

Bush's exit numbers are lower still, worst of any president.....ever.

High 20s, wasn't it? And he had a rubberstamp Congress for six years, they did pretty much anything Bush asked them to. Republican Congress was not fractious, fragmented like the current Democratic Congress. Bush said jump and they all jumped in unison. Still Bush got things horribly wrong.

Ron, my son used to have a calendar. It had 365 of Bush’s dumb sayings for 365 days (misunderestimate etc.)

One would be hard put to make a similar calendar for Obama.

Though he may have one for tax increases, promises broken -Medicaid cuts and on and on - hard to predict the future isn't it.

Though I do like the taxes proposed for cosmetic surgery - Those titties just increased ( in price) Same size but for a few dollars more - Love Clint

When it comes to being a liar, nobody beats Bush! ;)
Pretty much anyway. But I think he was matched by a few. aPAULing Martin for one, Lyin Brian Bullroney for another. Nixon and "I did not have sex with that woman" Clinton was up there, too.
Ah heck, they're all liars.

I thought that was junior's IQ. I know it is no where near 100.
