Subject: CNSNews.com - Obama Administration Approves First Direct Taxpayer Funding of Abortion Through New High-Risk Insurance Pools

It really isn't important what someone's opinion on abortion is. That is
not the point of this story. The point is Obama promised to sign an
executive order not allowing abortions to be paid with tax dollars. You
would think this guy would have waited a year or two and hope people
would have forgotten what he promised..This guy is THE biggest
bull****ter who ever sat in the Oval office.

That is the Republican perspective, ironsides (reported on a right wing website. Incidentally, at first I thought this was a CNN news item and was inclined to give credence to it. Then I noticed that it is a ‘CNS’ news item.

Conservatives pull this trick many times, they name their organizations to sound just like liberal organizations, in the hope of throwing people off. Thus, in response to ACLU, religious right started ACLJ.

Yeah, there is little to doubt. Paranoia and stupidity are infectious. Lots of Germans were convinced that their problems could all be placed on the impurity of their country too.

By 2012 it will not matter, unless there is a Republican House and Senate (hopefully) elected in November 2010, that can and should refuse to fund all the anti-American ambitions of this pretender.

If not, He will declare 2012 Presidentioal Election unconstitutional, and with an executive order will put an end to all elections.

And declare mission accomplished, fundamental transformation of America.

More paranoia. He doesn't have the power to declare what is and is not unconstitutional.

Perhaps not, but he DOES have the power to issue Executive Orders.

And since his knowledge (or more appropriately, his willful defiance) of the Constitution, he would be liable to declare anything he wants and the blind acolytes who voted for him, would believe it hook line and sinker.

And you seem to have bitten someone's crap about Obama being able to end elections by executive order. Hook, line and sinker.

It's paranoid delusion to think such a thing is going to happen.

Issuance of executive orders is not new.

A lot of people expected Bush to do the same thing, so Jack is just rehashing that paranoia with a right wing twist.

To me it makes no difference whether there is a Democrat or Republican president, they are all bought and paid for by the same people, but some like to cling to the illusion of democracy.

I bet he will run and unless the GOP has a popular candidate he just may pull off a win.

It is obvious that the GOP will take quite a few seats back in November so then Obama will find himself where Clinton was a number of years ago.

Hey Eaglesamck,
If he does go for it and runs on his record of accomplishments where do you suggest he start? The repair of the economy or the way his administration handled the BP oil leak? He may just trip over his own watermelon seeds.

Watermelon seeds?

What does that mean?

Avro,
These are the seeds he sewed when campaigning.
"I promise 100% tansparency in my administration."
"I promise no new taxes for those making less than $250,000 a year."
"I will allow 5 days of public review before I sign any bills."
"I will remove Ear Marks before I sign any bill."
"I will end income tax for those who earn less than $50,000 a year."
"I will put all Health care negotiations on CSPAN so everyone can see who is at the table."
Those were the seeds he sewed that never germinated. He sure doesn't have a green thumb.

These are all seeds that take awhile to germinate.
