Of course he is! Saint, savoir, etc.

Obama will run and if the economy straightens out he'll probably win, particularly if the GOP doesn't have a strong popular candidate.
Ah, but I said compared to Bush. Obama is just another puppet of the military/industrial complex. Poor old Eisenhower must be doing cart wheels in his grave.

No one likes to hear bad things about their heroes.
No hero of mine. He holds a place in my heart similar to Harpy.

More analysis about the demise of the Bamster.

From the right wing Spectator. Why doesn't that surprise me? There are probably thousands of such articles by right wing extremists on the web, confidently predicting demise of Obama, demise of Democrats, and predicting huge victories for Republicans in 2010 and 2012 (and in 2014, 2016, 2018 and so on).

I am surprised Walter stopped only at two. at least he does not copy and paste any more, he simply quotes the link. I must give him credit for that.

No one likes to hear bad things about their heroes.

Is that why you don't like to hear bad things about Bush?

A surprisingly non partisan assessment from you, EagleSmack. I agree with that myself. If economy is doing well, Obama wins, if it is in the tank, Obama loses.

I wouldn't have expected it from you. Congratulations.

Even more surprising would be something non-partisan coming from you, Joey.

I think the Big O will run and win again. Might even get another Nobel if he promises enough stuff.

You just can't never tell, eh? Bush was still pretty popular after 500 days.

9/11 and fear made him a two termer.

Remember, Americans are always afraid of something.

It's a conservative trait, they govern on fear.

Maybe- I don't suppose Bush was the most diplomatic person in the world, but I always had a bit of admiration for him because he didn't take any crap from anyone- or put otherwise- he was no Neville Chamberlain.:smile:

Did you like Trudeau as well? He didn't take crap from anyone either.

Given the fact that Trudeau never invaded a foreign country for no reason that ended the lives of over a hundred thousand people.

What I like about him is that he is not afraid to tackle the big issues, issues from which most politicians run away. He was able to pass the health care reform, which has eluded every president since Teddy Roosevelt.

He passed the legislation banning discrimination against gays, which had been simmering for more than 20 years. Now he is talking of immigration reform.

That is really the proper way to govern. He should try to implement as much of his agenda as he can, let the people judge him on what he has accomplished in 2012.

As opposed to that, Republicans have no agenda. Not only it is the party of no, but it is the party of ‘Hell, no’ (according to teabaggers).

The estimates I have read are closer to half a million Iraqis (and more than 4000 Americans).

Nah, not too much use for Trudeau- he gave a few people the finger alright but I'm not convinced that translates into "not taking any crap". Trudeau never had 3000 of his citizens wiped out by terrorists either. With Bush, what you saw was what you got, probably just the opposite with Trudeau. Quite a liar too, with that "fuddle duddle" bullsh*t.

What a weak comment.

Bush wasn't a liar?

Did Trudeau take any crap?

That was the comment.

Glad to see Bush was okay in your books....you can join the small crowd who think so.

Btw, just so you know I am not a fan of Bush or Trudeau.

I think the insurgents had more to do with the hundred thousand than Bush did. On his trips to Iraq, I wasn't aware of him taking down anyone with his six shooter. I think if he'd have had anythign like that in mind, he'd have taken Cheney along.

What a weak comment.

.

Yeah, you get that quite often from people who can't come up with anything substantial to shoot down your statement.:smile:

Left-wing conspiracies, right-wind conspiracies...what about centrist conspiracies?
Those are the really wacky ones. The big difference, though, is we centrists are usually joking about them. :D

lol Good point. And Gliberals govern on ............ hhhmmmmmm ........... the manie du moment. lol

Yup. He'll babble on about nearly anything.

He passed the legislation banning discrimination against gays, which had been simmering for more than 20 years. Now he is talking of immigration reform.
Yup. He even got a Nobel for promising all kindsa stuff.

Regardless of whether the American public likes it or not, right?

As opposed to that, Republicans have no agenda. Not only it is the party of no, but it is the party of ‘Hell, no’ (according to teabaggers).
Oh, sure they do. Reps' agenda is to support the exploitation of whatever is handy.

wow Don't stretch the figures any there, Joey:

Walter hates Obama so much that he doesn't want him to run again. But dontcha worry - he'll run especially if Palin runs as it will mean an easy victory.
