Flip Flop McCain as president? He is no different (today) than is Bush and the world cannot afford anything like that.

Prior to this time, with the exception of Nixon, no other Republican was more criticized by his own party than was McLame who was known to change his view on a subject from one day to the next. Clearly he has no intention of changing the failed political direction Bush and the Reaganites have taken. This will ultimately lead to national bankruptcy, a further decline for the USA, and more international war.

Whatever Obama's limitations may be, they do not begin to approach McLame's ineptitude.

Did you actually read what I said? Did you read the topic of the thread? Who would be best for the US. It has nothing to do with how the rest of the world views the States. It is about which one would be best for the States. And I cannot think of many circumstances where the States actually paid much attention as to what the rest of the planet thought.

I did not say McCain was Bush. I simply said that I think he will just be another Bush: as in birds of a feather. Someone who actually paid attention to the needs of the citizens of the States rather than their buddies oil interests outside of the States and meddling in other countries' affairs would be better for the States.

And BTW, i think Obama has an idea of where Canada is. Whatever relevance this has with the topic, I know not.

Obama voted for a ban on handguns and for the continuation of partial birth abortions. Both domestic issues last time I looked.

McCain will work with both parties and has, on immigration and on torture legislation.....to name just two. Obama is so far left he scares the hell out of most Republicans, while McCain is much closer to the centre of the US political spectrum....so who is the unifier?

Canadians always seem to miss the point when it comes to their southern Friends.

Obama maybe the best choice for the U.S. (my opinion outstanding) but McCain and all republican policy is generally much better for it's neighbours. Free enterprise and open borders are a conservative policy, where as Liberal policy closes and protects. This makes for harder access to the U.S. market.

Likely the U.S. needs both policies of late. Strong powerful nation and much better health care. Less government and real automatic weapon control..

and wants to work, on both sides of the isle, he has made that clear so many times, he
has said he wants to cut down on the stubborness of sticking to party lines, no matter
what.

It's obvious you feel strongly about the issue, by your low class response and name calling. I'm am glad you are not voting in the U.S. election Nov 4th, so your opinions are just that, opinions and carry no real weight.

As a dual citizen (which I am) who will be voting this election in both countries, I will NOT vote for somebody who is unpatriotic.
