I don't see any rationalization for 'kicking her out of the country' or anything like that.

She's a wingnut, but she's not spouting what I consider hate speech. She's insulting and rude, but that's not illegal.
Like I said, she's no match for Sandra Bernhard. And Sandra Bernhard at least acknowledges that she's a comic. Coulter doesn't have the wit to figure herself out.

I think the U of Ottawa is cementing its image as a University full of idiots, who will only tolerate free speech if it follows the accepted program of enlightenment.

I wonder if the human rights commission investigated the university, would they have a valid complaint?
No. HRC doesn't go after comics, even if the comics have no idea they are comics.

I don't need to rethink anything. As far as I am concerned, considering her comments about Canadians and Canada, she should not be allowed in this great Country. Any Canadian that supports this b*tch does not deserve to live here or call themselves Canadian.

Well I don't know what she said about Canada but your attitude seems to be a typical Canadian response. Nationalism taken to the extreme. It's not indicitive of a confident people. Not at all.

If you read the thread you would quickly see his response isn't typical for Canadians.

Check THIS out:
Just this February on the U of O campus, the Women’s Resource Centre posted signs in its windows proposing that men on campus be required to “keep to well-lit areas,” “wear bells around their necks at all times” and be “accompanied by protection officers.” All men.

Typical brainless american response....

Ya know, when I first came here I thought you were a real SOB. Now that I've spent a lot of time on Canadian web sites I see you're just a typical Canadian anti-American bigot. It's just a matter of a few words in a dictionary that separates you from a racist. I haven't come across a single item of Canadian society that would make me proud.

We love you anyway.

It's no wonder you get those sorts of responses with your attitude.

You get what you give, and when you feel that everyone around you is acting like an arsehole, maybe you need to look at yourself.

You're basically the conservative version of Gerry it sounds.

Speaking of bigots, using your generalizing statements about Canadians, you fit the definition pretty well too I might add.

Yet here you are. Do you make a habit of being places you don't like?
