I find your sudden realization that its wrong to assume that just because someone doesn't support one extreme viewpoint, they must therefore support the opposing extreme viewpoint position enlightening. Too bad you don't consistently apply this reasoning.

You can of course point out exactly where I've done this? I rather doubt it as this is not my point of view, so other than just being a misconstrued interpretation of what I've said, I cannot think of what you might be referring to.

Or do we just call it a vague B.S. insult now simply because I caught you trying to attribute something to me which I've never said earlier this morning?

Honestly if you want clarification on something I've said, just ask. I'm not shy. In the interim, stick to the words in front of you.

Much as I like Remington .357 Magnum 125 grain semi jacketed hollow points.........

You are shooting in the wrong direction.

How silly do you have to be to come under attack and start shooting at the folks inside the house??

Well it's spreading to 26 countries today.. this will cost Obama his Presidency I think..

The USA needs to stop giving aid to these Banana Republics (A.K.A. Islamic Republics), such as Egypt and Pakistani.

Egypt gets 1.6 billion and Pakistan gets 20 billion. I wonder how much Canada gives????

Halt immigration to these people, who claim refugee status and when they get their citizenship return to their country to visit family, does that sound like a refugee too you??

That takes gall I would say - criticizing a persons reasoning when you tried to link the riots to Canadians rioting over hockey.

Just heard a report that there may not even have been demonstrations at the consulate when Stevens was killed. That would put a bit of a wrench in Susan Rice's lies.....err.....media releases.

Also, just saw video from Pakistan or Afghanistan, not sure which, where I could swear protestors were stomping on and burning posters of Alfred E. Newman. :)

I agree Rushdie should be stopped from writing. “death to Israel and ”down with the U.S.“
You left a wet spot on the forum.

If you're going to dribble, wipe it up please.

Look, I'm all for Free Speech..
No you aren't.

For the record, this is my opinion of Iran...

It has a better human rights history than Israel

Which we all know, is a bold faced lie.

Which of course brings me to this gem...

I find your sudden realization that its wrong to assume that just because someone doesn't support one extreme viewpoint, they must therefore support the opposing extreme viewpoint position enlightening.
What's to bad, is how you do support the opposing extreme view point.

If you didn't, you wouldn't make extreme and absurd claims such as Iran has a better track record on human rights than Israel.

Well I do support Free Speech...
No you don't.

No you don't.

What if you say it enough times it will become true, is that it..??

As far as this stupid film is concern.. I don't care about that.. what pisses me off is the Government told him in the past his actions could cost American lives.. yet his did it..

I think everyone has the right to say what they want, but they should also be responsible for the side effects of what they say..

It seems that the Obama administration are saying the Video is responsible for the death of the diplomat, however now it's also being said the video had nothing to do with his murder this was planned attack for 9/11.

If the video had nothing to do with it.. great.. then I don't give a sh!t about a bunch of Sand N****ers protesting about their pedophile prophet muhammad being insulted.

I trust the Obama administration will be putting pressure on Sony Pictures to cancel their planned release of the film about the killing of Bin Laden (which the Obama administration cooperated with).

I find it highly ironic that the one foreign policy accomplishment that democrats keep pointing to (killing of Bin Laden) is one of the things we are now being told is inflaming the middle east.

Council Of Shia Muslim Scholars In North America Demands Government Submit To Sharia & Censor Innocence Of Muslims

Or else . . .
“The Council of Shia Muslim Scholars in North America severely condemns and strongly denounces this heinous act. Moreover, the Council cautions and demands that all those with a sense of responsibility take the following into account:
1) Officials and governmental authorities should exercise extensive efforts to prevent the propagation of causes for spreading hate which can endanger security and stability. Among such causes is this offensive and inappropriate film. This must be done in order to protect the lives and property of people from the rage of those taken by emotions and who may lose control, whether Muslims or non-Muslims.”

Well put! I should direct quote you and I didn't.

I apologize. I'll try to maintain a higher standard.

Every culture has its hot buttons. In the west, its sporting events. The primary reason why we don't have more deaths and injuries is the behavior of law enforcement, not the crowd burning cars and looting stores (or throwing rocks at embassies)

Likely Muslims would have a poor appraisal of an out of control drunken mob. Do you share a similarly poor appraisal of an out of control, religiously fervent mob?

LOL can I suggest we go to 26 countries where these protestors are and do this:::

26 now... Likely this is more than about just a movie. This could be war.

Just heard a report that there may not even have been demonstrations at the consulate when Stevens was killed. That would put a bit of a wrench in Susan Rice's lies.....err.....media releases.

When news breaks, people sometimes have erroneous impressions based on misleading initial information. She already knew about other riots... Her conclusions may have matched early information

Libya protests militias thought behind attack that killed U.S. ambassador | World | News | National Post

Around 30,000 Libyans marched through the eastern city of Benghazi on Friday in an unprecedented protest to demand the disbanding of powerful militias in the wake of last week’s attack that killed the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans.

Scores of pro-government demonstrators entered the headquarters of the Islamist militia Ansar al Sharia, aiming to evict fighters from the site, Reuters witnesses said.

Police and army vehicles arrived at the scene, but there was no immediate signs of violence or confrontation.

The “Rescue Benghazi day” demonstration called for the government to disband armed groups that have refused to give up their weapons since the NATO-backed revolution that toppled Muammar Gaddafi last year.

It was not immediately clear if the militia headquarters had been occupied at the time, but there was sign of any fighters there.

“We entered here to give the place to the national security forces,” said activist Musaf al-Sheikhy.

The action appeared to be part of a coordinated sweep of militia headquarters by police, government troops and activists following the demonstration.

“We are taking over the premises of the batallion. This was at the request of the people, who demanded that the batallion leaves this place,” said Army Colonel Naji al-Shuaibi, who was leading the operation to take over the militia headquarters.

Tens of thousands have taken to the streets today in Pakistan to rage against the machine on what is being called "Love the Prophet Day." In Karachi alone, that means an estimated 15,000 people, some armed with clubs and bamboo poles, others with guns, firing on police officers, torching banks, police vehicles, and a half dozen movie theaters so far.

Let me see if I've got this straight. You're really, REALLY mad about some douchebag from California that made a really stupid movie, so you burn down your own businesses and kill each other?

[blank stare]

OK. If that's the way you want it ... carry on.

In other news, showing that there is indeed balance and sanity to be had, 30,000 Libyans have taken to the streets of Benghazi today. To kill each other and burn the place down? No. To protest against the wingnut extremist militias like Ansar alSharia - who participated in last week's consulate attack - and other wingnut Islamic extremist militias that run amok and kill Muslims who don't play by their wingnut views.

Makes about as much sense as why Vancouverites burned and looted downtown Vancouver.

IN the other news... it looks like the US is homing in on who is responsible... I hope. I wish the Americans success in bringing those responsible to justice. I'd prefer an arrest and trial.... but that's doubtful.

No, her tone and delivery left no room to give her benefit of doubt. There was no "as far as we know" "best as we can tell" etc. etc. She was quite forceful in purveying her narrative, insisting it was what it was and it was what she said it was. She lied.
