So BC illegally attempts to block a pipeline from Alberta and Alberta decides to illegally cut off the flow of fuel to BC. It is like watching children throwing sand at each other in a playground.

Meanwhile in SK we smile and wave.

Go pour some of that cheap gas over your head.

I do like this very public dipper familiy feud. Even willing to pay a bit more in gas for front row seat at the demise of the NDP.

I will be remembering this the next time nationalizing oil and gas is discussed.

Which I guess will be about 2 seconds after this is implemented

That ain't going to happen but I can see government imposed rules on price and allocation.

So be a leader and remove your self from the gene pool. After all with no consumers capitalism will cease to exist.

The top part is the rehabilitated portion; the bottom is the working portion to be rehabilitated after the work has been completed!

Cliffy is a hippy injun. Neither believe in cleaning up after themselves. That is the government's job.

Some bozo (on another platform) tried to tell me that the pipeline was being built for the Chinese. Alberians think the Chinese are stupid?
The Chinese are invested in bitumen and are therefore going to be fully aware of Canada's fiendishly clever plan to sell nearly worthless bitumen to them at hugely inflated prices.

Everything that is ever said about this pipeline is a lie and a stupid one at that.

It's $1.21L sweetie.

So why is it going to California?

Alberta’s bitumen deposits is added into these negative cost equations, global oil players know when to cut and run. Compared to conventional heavy crude, bitumen contains 102 times more copper, 21 times more vanadium, 11 times more sulphur, 11 times more nickel, six times more nitrogen, and five times more lead,
All stripped out and sold.

Gotta love the value added benefits of upgrading.

They want their oil that they paid royalty on already no inflated pricing when they sell to themselves

The price of life.

Between health care, cellular and vehicle insurance I was paying $3500 more a year in BC than SK.

If I add gasoline, $5000 a year.

I bought s vehicle out there and insured it but in ICBC's infinite wisdom they put my former expired BC CPIC on the registration and I kept getting pulled over for an expired DL and it wasn't going to stop. When a 6 month contract was scrapped for a 2 year, I took up residency.

Yeah, I remember getting a ticket out on the island because I didn't have a front license plate... At that time, AB had gone to issuing 1 lic plate that was to be on the rear of the car and the rules in BC were different.

Fortunately, I was in the process of relocating out of province

One of the positive roles of government is making sure the rehabilitation is done properly. Down hereabouts we have experience with companies that swore they'd "rehabilitate" strip mine sites, and fulfilled their promise by stripping old-growth forest and replanting with timothy grass when they were done.

Makes for nice golf courses.

Yosemite will make a great golf course after a little logging, mining and drilling. Only leftard LIE-berals want National parks and such blotting up the landscape.

My father played the Banff golf course while on medical leave during WWII all by himself because there were no other golfing men around to play with him. Just dad and the Wapiti.

I bet he had a great score!
