Have you ever actually met a lawyer? Or are you like Boomster, telling us about all the lawyers he knows, when it's pretty clear TV lawyers are the only thing he's ever seen.

Well now, I know a lot of Corporate lawyers... They keep care of my minutes and registered office for service... Glad to say I'm don't know any criminal lawyers.. ;)

It was Karma for bringing small pox to America. I love it when Karma works.

Actually syphilis was known in Europe well before Columbus as those of you who read Chaucer's Canterbury Tales may recall from your college days:

Geoffrey Chaucer (1342-1400) - "The Canterbury Tales", from General Prologue, ll. 625-670

The Summoner was a syphilitic who used medical treatments of that era for the skin disorders that came with that illness,

A SUMMONER was with us in that place,
Who had a fiery-red, cherubic face,
All pimpled it was; his eyes were narrow
As hot he was, and lecherous, as a sparrow;
With black and scabby brows and scanty beard;
630] He had a face that little children feared.
There was no mercury, sulphur, or litharge,
No borax, ceruse, tartar
, could discharge,
Nor ointment that could cleanse enough, or bite,
To free him of his boils and pimples white,
635] Nor of the knobs located on his cheeks.

So uh, what are they going to rename places like Columbus, Ohio? Indigenous People's City, Ohio?

It was Karma for bringing small pox to America. I love it when Karma works.
Well then I guess all the **** going on the Middle-East is karma for them bringing small pox to Europe, and thus to the Americas by proxy.

Still lovin' the karma?

Look, I could really care what happen in the 1800 to a bunch of pilgrims and wagon burners...

It's 2015 and people need to get over it.. however if you want to fight over a U.S. Holiday that doesn't affect Canada knock yourself out..

Oh and yes, the Native Indians just like the settlers did horrific things to each other... Killing the Buffalo to starve the savages, scalping did happen on both sides, torturing captives on both sides happened.

Maybe you want to claim that the Indians never did anything wrong... well, go ahead, you're just another ignorant over opinionated dumb bitch... Plenty of those in Canada.

Wow....just wow...... 1800 and pilgrims....... the only ignorant and over opinionated dumb bitch I see here...... is you. You don't have a fu cking clue and yet you puke all over the board as if you do. You really have to be the dumbest son of a bitch I have seen in a long long time.

I love the movie dances with wolves. Near the end as the chief listens to Costner warning him of the impending onslaught of the white man into their homeland, the chief pulls out an old Spanish conquistador helmet he had saved . It was a telling scene of the beginning of the end of the Sioux Horse Culture and their way of life. People have been invading and taking for a long time. Since forever it seems. Columbus was a tool for the Spanish in their ambitions of conquest and conversion. Their victims were many in their own land, and multiple millions in the Americas. So The Sioux Culture vanished into history. Along with the peaceful Cherokee from Georgia and so on and so forth. For European immigrants to call these natives savages, is the best example of the pot calling the kettle black that I've heard.
