The Mandarin Buffet of 9/11 documentaries

A little light viewing for American-haters, mad foil-hatters, Patriot Warriors, peaceniks, radical Islam members and even truth-seekers.

Have a cathartic soak in the 9-11 walk-in tub with hydrovescent action or a jubilant shower in the touchless car wash of hope and change.

Or not, what do I care. I'm just providing you knuckleheads a link.

Spot on.

Stop talking to the dog. We ain't interested in that kinky stuff ya hear. Did you take my advice and get Spot's nails clipped.

By Jove that does sound rather like she's from Old Blighty!

She seems to use that a lot like SJP and his indeed:smile:

Old Blighty for "for sure". Gilbert and Sullivan should have been your first clue!

Our time would be better spent putting an end to the
injustices in the world, instead of mourning after the fact about a single act in history.

Spot on. I have (personally ) come to dread Sept and how the media uses it to promote even more hatred , self pity , and keep the event alive in the populations mind so that it takes very little for it to go along with any war (under the umbrella of terrorsm)- or national securty ) and surrender willingly and happily even more rights in the false promise of national security

The U.S. did exactly the right thing in response to 9/11, knowing what they knew at the time. Otherwise the act is going to be regarded as acceptable and will encourage more of the same. It's kept the U.S. relatively safe for 10 years. What if Hitler had of been treated in the way you suggest? Wir be sprechen de Deutsch today.

Except that SJP didn't hate all Americans....just Republicans:lol:

Which included about half the democrats.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight, because the most powerful nation in the war declaring war on a group of criminals was definitely the right thing to do rather than treating them like the thugs they were. Giving AQ recruitment fodder was THE way to go. Yup yup yup.

As for your reference to Hitler, Bravo, intelligence plus. Standing ovation.

Okay.....we have criminals.....a "bunch of thugs" as you call them, dispatched to commit a suicide attack ..........has it not occurred to anyone that organized mass suicide attacks are not a tactic of criminals?? Who work for profit??

But I digress.....

Anyway, the leadership of this "gang of thugs" is holed up in Afghanistan, and the people that run Afghanistan, who share all the basic philosophy of the "gang of thugs" refuse to turn them over.

Next move???

:)

Well, I'd have bombed the living crap out of one country, and flooded it with troops.

And NOT changed the domestic law one iota.

I'd also left the foreign Taliban etc in the hands of the new Afghanistan gov't.....they would have long since ceased to be a problem.

It is not only criminality.....it is a new kind of war.......and the world has no structure, no rules, no experience to understand how it should be waged. It is all new territory.

The Americans mishandled it in many ways.

But it had to be fought.

Well well well, took you long enough to admit that. That's one step in the right direction.

You haven't been reading my posts....

Examples of things I've said:

The invasion of Iraq distracted America from the more important job necessary in Afghanistan.

Trials by military tribunal are UNCONSTITUTIONAL under the Fifth Amendment, unless the accused was a serving member of the US military at the time of the offense.

There is NO excuse for torture.....ever.

Water-boarding is torture.

Domestic laws that truncate tradition western freedoms hand the Islamists a victory.

The border paranoia, especially at airports, is ludicrous.

Etc etc etc.

Really? I thought it was the same crusade war that's been plaguing humanity since the beginning of known time.
