I'm not keen on puberty blockers of any kind. There are quite a few medications out there i am not keen on. A lot of stuff following the science leads back to the money.
Trans lives matter to the tune of $3.2M to a gender clinic.

Ever heard of the golem.

The word "golem" has multiple meanings and uses:

Jewish folklore

A golem is a mythical creature in Jewish folklore that is created from an inanimate substance, such as clay or dust, and brought to life by magic or incantations. The golem is usually a servant of its creator, but may also be a companion or rescuer.

Talmudic literature

The word "golem" is used in the Talmud to refer to an embryonic or incomplete substance.

Modern Hebrew

The word "golem" is used to mean "dumb," "helpless," or "pupa".

Yiddish

The word "goylem" is used in Yiddish to describe someone who is lethargic or in a stupor.

Metaphor

Today, "golem" is often used as a metaphor for a stupid person or an entity that serves a person under certain conditions, but is hostile in others.

Puberty blockers are chemical castration.
They want to castrate kids chemically, so they don't: What?
Pop a boner?
Feel the same thing all of us felt when we began to go through puberty.
This is insanity run amok.
Leave the kids alone and let them become who they are.

Puberty blockers to be banned indefinitely for under-18s across UK

Health secretary says emergency measures banning sale and supply will be made indefinite after expert advice.

Andrew Gregory Health editor
Wed 11 Dec 2024 13.54 GMT

Puberty blockers for under-18s with gender dysphoria will be banned indefinitely across the UK except for use in clinical trials, the government has announced.
Wes Streeting, the health secretary, said that after receiving advice from medical experts, he would make existing emergency measures banning the sale and supply of puberty blockers indefinite.
The Department of Health and Social Care said the Commission on Human Medicines (CHM) had published independent expert advice that there was “currently an unacceptable safety risk in the continued prescription of puberty blockers to children”.

Streeting said the commission had recommended indefinite restrictions while work is done to ensure the safety of children and young people.

The NHS announced in March that children would no longer be prescribed puberty blockers at gender identity clinics, with the then Conservative government saying this would help ensure care was based on evidence and was in the “best interests of the child”.

In May, that government introduced a ban on puberty blockers through emergency legislation, preventing the prescription of the medication from European or private prescribers and restricting NHS provision to within clinical trials.

A challenge to that ruling, brought by campaigners who said they were concerned for the safety and welfare of young trans people in the UK, failed in July when the high court ruled that the ban was lawful.

Dr Hilary Cass, who wrote the Cass review into children’s gender care and published her final report in April, described puberty blockers as “powerful drugs with unproven benefits and significant risks”.

She said: “That is why I recommended that they should only be prescribed following a multi-disciplinary assessment and within a research protocol. I support the government’s decision to continue restrictions on the dispensing of puberty blockers for gender dysphoria outside the NHS where these essential safeguards are not being provided.”

Boys will grow to be men and girls will grow to be women. They wont stay children to be abused by child diddlers.

You cant arrest a diddler when the pube free boy or girl (they stay boys and girls on blockers) is over 18.

The pedophiles found a loophole and its been slammed shut like a virgin sphincter.
Puberty be like, "I'm over!"

They stay kids forever and ever....just like in the Wonderful World of Disney where they have a lifetime role in a fantasy.

So the fact the blockers are prescribed meds for kids because otherwise they'd be going through puberty as really small kids... is too bad so sad?

You'd think if that was important to you, you'd be for helping/being okay with trans kids who social transition and puberty blockers (which are used by non-trans kids and no one bats an eye at the side effects of non-trans kids using them).
What non-trans kids are using puberty blockers (?) & why? This is new thought territory for me & you’ve got me curious now. I’ve never heard of this before & can’t fathom any teenager (or pre-teen, or whatever) willingly taking puberty blockers. Is this for legitimate medical reasons proscribed by a doctor?

I’ve never heard of this before. Didn’t know that was a thing. Are you saying that puberty blockers are given to kids who are short or whatever until they’re taller? Is that what you’re saying or something else? You’ve got me curious here.

I also find this interesting because, at least in males, one of the things that happen in puberty is a growth spurt. If puberty was blocked, that may not happen.

It's call Precocious puberty.

And for a bit of extra info as it relates to trans issues:

So blockers have been used for kids since the mid 80's and in trans care since the 90's.

Yes, and that's why for trans girls, it's such a big deal to STOP puberty from happening until they either figure out that yes, they are a trans girl, or perhaps no, they're not and don't feel the need to transition, that they're okay with still having male attributes (they could be gender fluid, gender non-conforming, or something else that falls under the 'trans' umbrella). Plus there's the hair growth and all the other things that come with it. For trans boys, it slows down the fat distribution, breast formation and more importantly, menses.

JK Rowling again being JK Rotten

To sum up, Joanne is on a tirade again (racial and gender based) because Nigerian footballer Barbra Banda was named Women's Footballer of the Year by the BBC.

To be clear, Barbra is a non-trans woman, but that doesn't stop idiots like Joanne from being, well, a transphobic, racist cunt.

I was curious about the non-trans cases which you mentioned. You mentioned being too short was one reason to take them which seemed be counter-intuative given puberty encourages growth. Or did I misunderstand your point?

I read the article. Its very very rarely used because the condition is idiologicay and environmentally induced.

Malnutrition isnt common in Canada.

Its clutching at straws.

No, I said that when kids are 'small kids', not that kids were 'too short'. Perhaps I should have said younger - like 8ish, maybe younger. So the misunderstanding was on me.

And I posted up links to discuss the non-trans use of blockers.
