Why are you asking that question? That's not what the supreme court ruling, or his lawsuit, or the settlement, was about.

But still, he does deserve compensation, although I question the amount! - Probably a $million clear.
I still don't think he did except for being held for years without a trial in Guantanamo, although prisoners of war fall into a different category than ordinary criminals which are supposed to get a prompt trial...
I know he was question by Canadian intelligence officers while in guatanamo but war is hell and Canadians are not the ones who brought him there...find your reading glasses and come back

Those are moot points UNTIL it's been proven beyond a reasonable doubt that he killed anyone.
I might add that two successive Liberal governments left him there and it was the subsequent Conservative government that got him out of Gitmo. Ti-Jean Chretien was happy to see him rot in an American gulag, it would seem.
Who ever puts a bullet in Omar Khadr and kills him will be a Canadian Hero...
