So are you saying that we knew the events of 9/11 were going to happen and the US Govt. just ignored them? Or are you saying that after the event information on Al Queda operatives in the US taking flight lessons and pieces of info like that were ignored?
Choice A and the information was all there and brought to the government as a serious threat to national security, and nothing was done... sources? Sure.... and I'll get some from outside of the US's Strangle Hold on media which seems to have affected your ability to collect this information yourself years ago when it first came out:
The White House had (at least ) 28 Advanced Intelligence Warnings Prior to 9/11

^ Direct links to various and well known US Media agencies (CNN, NY Times, MSNBC and many others) who reported these advanced warnings, one in paticular:
"Britain gave President Bush a categorical warning to expect multiple airline hijackings by the al-Qaeda network a month before the September 11 attacks which killed nearly 3000 people and triggered the international war against terrorism."

Two Months Before 9/11, an Urgent Warning to Rice
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/09/30/AR2006093000282.html
"On July 10, 2001, two months before the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, then-CIA Director George J. Tenet met with his counterterrorism chief, J. Cofer Black, at CIA headquarters to review the latest on Osama bin Laden and his al-Qaeda terrorist organization. Black laid out the case, consisting of communications intercepts and other top-secret intelligence showing the increasing likelihood that al-Qaeda would soon attack the United States. It was a mass of fragments and dots that nonetheless made a compelling case, so compelling to Tenet that he decided he and Black should go to the White House immediately.
Tenet called Condoleezza Rice, then national security adviser, from the car and said he needed to see her right away. There was no practical way she could refuse such a request from the CIA director."

FBI Agent: Superiors Ignored Warnings Of Possible Terrorist Attack
http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1526670/20060321/id_0.jhtml
"An FBI agent who suspected that a possible terrorist plot was in the works just weeks before the September 11, 2001, terror attacks said Monday that his superiors repeatedly blocked his efforts to warn of the plan.
Testifying at the sentencing trial of September 11 conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui on Monday, Harry Samit, the FBI agent who arrested Moussaoui three weeks before the airliner hijackings that killed 3,000 people, said he tried to tell his superiors more than 70 times that he thought a hijacking plan might be in the works, according to a Reuters report.
"You tried to move heaven and earth to get a search warrant to search this man's belongings. You were obstructed," defense attorney Edward MacMahon said.
"From a particular individual in the [FBI's] Radical Fundamentalist Unit, yes sir, I was obstructed," Samit replied."

Now with a load of goodies like the above, from officials and authorities who claimed they attempted on numerous occasions to warn and to take action against the threat.... what would be your conclusions as to why not one damn thing was done? By all means, my eyes are waiting to read your response.... or is all of the above the same as hologram planes?
Well if you believe it to be an inside job I think the CIA/FBI ran a pretty successful mission don't you?
If you say so. Based on the above links I supplied, the agencies were doing their job.... the people who were supposed to act on their intelligence and advice did jack sh*t...... why?
Why would Bush and his minions not do anything about these warnings, tell the public that there were no warnings, then get countered by the agencies above who did..... but then use crappy intelligence to invade Iraq and now possibly Iran?
I mean, if the US is just going to pick and choose what information they act on and still get it all screwed up, perhaps maybe the US shouldn't have that sort of power at their disposal in the first place and needs to join back with the UK to make sure they don't screw anything else up.
