Wow…got me curious with that video. I wish I could see more of what was going on with that truck in the background. Something interesting with the deck (or framing), etc…
Battery pack and an octopus of wiring. No tranny or drive shaft frees up a lot of space.

Edison Motors channel.

The 4x4 tubed box on top of the frame rails I mean… wish I could’ve seen the rest of the top of the frame rails.

Edison does retrofitting. They started with a couple old Pacifics.
I’ll have to do some reading when time permits. Is Edison the one that was trying to make electric logging trucks?

(We bounce primarily between NW Indiana to NW BC and points in between ourselves so 5000+ mile round trips are common, & infrastructure between let’s say Edmonton & Terrace BC is lacking)

One of my cousins is a pioneer in the electric autonomous trucks in Fort Mac, & she’s been at that for years now, but it’s a relatively short beaten path repeatedly.

Yes, they are building the logging trucks, small truck diesel electric conversion kits, commercial truck conversions and portable solar. I like that they are function before form.

They are setting up a production line in Donald BC just west of Golden.

Next time I pass thru I'm stopping in for a nickel tour.
