(If the EV industry is gonna be dominated by overseas Industries, ships are gonna have to be redesigned so that they can jettison their loads if they end up with an EV fire… so if it means 25 cars or 125 cars go over the side to get rid of the one car that’s on fire… at least they saved the rest of the load and the ship, etc….)

A better solution would be to send the cars over without batteries, and either make the batteries here, or sip them in a separate vessel.
