Because of that, my thought would be what consists of Israel, the West Bank and Gaza now is redrawn, one part specifically given to Israel, one part specifically given to Palestine with a HEAVY DMZ zone between the two, manned by the UN Peacekeepers (easiest would be north region given to Palestine, south region given to Israel. Each part has access to the sea, each part has access to the "River" and that's the end of the bullshit. No side will be happy to have what they have, but at least both sides HAVE a place. And any Palestinians inside the Israeli side are free to leave, just as any Israeli's inside the Palestinian side are free to leave. But if they stay, they canNOT bitch about who is in charge and start back up their conflicts. That happens, neutral peacekeepers come in and remove the problems, escorting them out of the country and they are not permitted to return.

Neither side has proven that they really deserve to be in control; they're lucky they get that.
Oh, and Jerusalem? A zone that neither side controls. Two months after earning a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, a 20-year-old Northern Virginia woman is having her diploma withheld for partaking in pro-Palestinian demonstrations.
Sereen Haddad is accused of violating the school’s code of conduct by participating in pro-Palestinian demonstrations and school officials tell WTOP the diploma is on hold until it investigates her alleged conduct.
The Haddad family has deep ties to Gaza and her father, cardiologist Dr. Tariq Haddad, said at least 200 extended family members and friends have died during the Israeli-Hamas war.
Haddad finished her classwork at VCU in three years and would’ve earned a degree in psychology. She intends to pursue a master’s degree in psychology and eventually a PhD.
“She did all the requirements in three years rather than four with a 4.0, summa cum laude,” Tariq said. “She wants to obtain a degree, a PhD in psychology, because over 50% of the children in Gaza suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder and childhood depression because of all these attacks over the past few years.”
He said his daughter’s goal is to use her PhD to help children with war-related mental illness.
The dispute is also holding up her applications to graduate school, because she does not officially have a bachelor’s degree.
After participating in and organizing several peaceful campus protests, Sereen was notified by the university this spring that she could attend the graduation ceremony but would not receive her diploma.

Three months ago, Joseph Czuba was sentenced to 53 years behind bars for the attack. He was found guilty in February of murder, attempted murder and hate-crime charges in the death of Wadee Alfayoumi and the wounding of the boy’s mother, Hanan Shaheen.
The 73-year-old Czuba targeted them in October 2023 because of their Islamic faith and as a response to the war between Israel and Hamas, which started days earlier.
Czuba died Thursday in the custody of the Illinois Department of Corrections, the Chicago Sun-Times reported, citing the Will County Sheriff’s Office. The law enforcement agency did not return a call seeking comment on the death.
Ahmed Rehab, the executive director of Council on American-Islamic Relations’ Chicago office, said in a statement on Saturday that “this depraved killer has died, but the hate is still alive and well.”
Evidence at trial included harrowing testimony from Shaheen and her frantic 911 call, along with bloody crime scene photos and police video. Jurors deliberated less than 90 minutes before handing in a verdict.
The family had been renting rooms in Czuba’s home in Plainfield, about 40 miles (64 kilometres) from Chicago when the attack happened.
Central to prosecutors’ case was harrowing testimony from the boy’s mother, who said Czuba attacked her before moving on to her son, insisting they had to leave because they were Muslim. Prosecutors also played the 911 call and showed police footage. Czuba’s wife, Mary, whom he has since divorced, also testified for the prosecution, saying he had become agitated about the Israel-Hamas war, which had erupted days earlier.
Police said Czuba pulled a knife from a holder on a belt and stabbed the boy 26 times, leaving the knife in the child’s body. Some of the bloody crime scene photos were so explicit that the judge agreed to turn television screens showing them away from the audience, which included Wadee’s relatives.
The attack renewed fears of anti-Muslim discrimination and hit particularly hard in Plainfield and surrounding suburbs, which have a large and established Palestinian community. Wadee’s funeral drew large crowds, and Plainfield officials have dedicated a park playground in his honour.

Palestinian families in West Bank hamlet said to flee due to settler attacks

Several families from the Palestinian West Bank hamlet of Deir Alla have abandoned the dwelling in the face of several settler attacks over the last few days, and the establishment of a settler outpost in the hamlet, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reports.
The head of Kisan Village Council, which is close to Deir Alla, is quoted by Wafa as saying that settlers vandalized homes in the dwelling yesterday, destroyed solar panels and the local water network and looted some belongings.
Head of the council Mousa Abiyyat states that following the attack, settlers came back later in the day and threatened the residents with severe consequences if they did not leave the hamlet, leading several families to flee.
According to Haaretz, 17 families have now abandoned Deir Alla, following the violence of the last few days and the establishment of the outpost on Wednesday.
Saturday’s incidents followed an arson attack against several homes in the hamlet overnight Friday.
IDF forces who arrived at the scene detained several suspects on suspicion of involvement in the incident and handed them over to the police, the IDF spokesperson’s unit says.
Officials say that the police then released them after questioning them in the field, although the police have denied that any suspects were detained or arrested at all.
