…Following up on his X post, Summerfelt sent an email to Carney with the information that his campaign logo was almost exactly the one that Edmonton-based but national business debt collection firm MetCredit uses in its day-to-day communications.

The image from Mark Carney's X header for his account.
Whoopsies…?
…I’m in.

That's a beautiful logo, Mark...... but we’re apolitical! Brian Summerfelt

This is interesting. Parliament might have to be recalled mid February.

Stumbled across the same thing this morning and posted about it (Post#92) here:
Very interesting and totally uncharted waters. With enough shenanigans and scandals, I shouldn’t look too far to find coincidences…but Ironically, February 14th is the 3rd anniversary the government invoked the Emergencies Act, & the last day of the Liberal/NDP selective GST Holiday, & Valentines Day I guess.

Ours make US$ 174,000 per year. That's a million-jillion-bazillion in Canadian play money.

All public employees should get a 2/3 pay cut. That way we'll be sure they're in it for the good of the public.

Pols, bureaucrats, first responders, soldiers, engineers, cops. . .
Ours make upwards of $400,000.' I'm talking all levels of government. Municipal is probably the worst in BC. Not only do we have far too many in clusters, they all come complete with excessive and overpaid bureaucraps. Then they have their group clusterfucks, with their own overabundance of bureaucraps, but the already highly paid council members get a stipend in the neighbourhood of $40,000 to attend these meetings. As well as getting paid extra for attending various meetings that should be part of a council member's job. It ends up being a lot of money that could go towards services for taxpayers.

St. Valentine's Day massacre. Sounds good to me.

It is not a mediocre pension. Solid gold would be a more accurate description. Also comes with perks, like appointment to committees that never meet, but get paid anyway.
Its capped.

Big maybe, depending upon a lot of “if’s”…
