What should we do with females who hurt other females in sports? Or is this only important because it was a male who hurt her?

Getting spiked by a volleyball will hurt regardless of who hits it.

As for this supposed video from this supposed player (yeah, obviously I'm doubtful of the story), I have questions that go with it all.

Like:

1. Was this player who hit the ball a trans person for sure?
2. If they were a trans woman, how long have they been in transition?
3. Were they taking blockers/estrogen? For how long?
4. What was their ability BEFORE the incident with this other player?
5. Was the player who got hit, ever hit with a ball before?

There's others but for now five should be enough, ya?

No. Let me nail you with a spike then we'll try a young adult female. It's all physics. You can't fuck with physics.

The difference is that being spiked by a female player only hurts the one spiked. Being spiked by a trans player hurts all upright, Gawd-fearin' Canadian Conservatives.

And being spiked by the last bench-sitter on a losing high-school team who is trans hurts more than being spiked by an Olympic gold medalist who's female. That's physics, see.

Dont encourage denying physics and biology. It's not good for anyone involved.

By size or by a flip of the coin?

Start here, "Sexual dimorphism".
Yep. Which you misinterpret by saying that because males are on average bigger and stronger than females, that EVERY male should be at least eligible for "men's leagues" and NO woman should be.

Discrimination is the product of overgeneralization and fear.

It's discrimation that males in a zillion species are biologically bigger, stronger, and equipped differently than female?

Are you tiny?

Women are generally more flexible than men for a variety of reasons, including:

Connective tissue
Women have more elastin, which helps muscles be more elastic. Estrogen receptors in fibroblasts of ligaments and tendons may also stimulate collagen synthesis and fibroblast proliferation.

Hormones
Estrogen in women helps keep muscle mass in check, making them lighter and more flexible.

Anatomy
Women have wider hips and pelvises, which can make them more flexible in the hips and hamstrings.

Same?

It's safe to say females have a biological advantage in many sports and ohysical activities.

A female gymnast vs male...who is physically more capable on the mats?

Oh, so it was male?
Yep. See, except for a tiny percentage of outliers, humans are either male or female by biology.

I just don't lose my freakin' mind over gender roles, and I don't much give a shit about the delusions of a tiny minority.

And having spent a fair amount of time in other countries with other customs, I also don't stroke out if there's a woman or a man in the other-sex washroom. I leave that to delicate Canadian flowers so very, very easily hurt.

Nope, it makes you emotionally driven to deny the obvious. Some females are stronger, faster, and more physically capable than some males.

Sorry to hurt you.
There are always exceptions, but that’s generally not the rule of thumb.

I had a former tenant who had been in Judo at that point for a couple of decades. His father was the coach for the provincial team for several decades, & this guy just grew up in that world.

He (& his wife-type at the time) rented my basement suite. One afternoon as they were passing through, I ended up with several members of the women’s Canadian national judo team (& a few of their husbands) on my deck. Those women were the exceptions to the rule of thumb, & not the rule of thumb.

Anyone one of them, at that level, could annihilate the average untrained male, but those ladies were not average women. At the time I had two blenders, & bananas were on sale, so we had daiquiris just because.

They must never, EVER be allowed to compete against men!

Gawd don't like it.
