During an overseas visit aimed at quelling recent violence between the State of Israel and Hamas, President Joe Biden has suggested bringing the two sides together over a meal of barbecued ribs.

“In the midst of such awful imagery coming out of the Holy Land, I thought it might help to bridge the gap between representatives of the Islamic Resistance movement and the Jewish Homeland by hanging out at the WhiteHouse to grill up some smoky Memphis-style baby backs,” began the POTUS.

“It’s like I always say, Jack – when faced with such division we need to find common ground, and who doesn’t love bacon, am I right?”

Yep, he's starting to sound like Trump now.

B.C. minister who resigned over Mideast comments received death threat: Preem

COQUITLAM, B.C. — The RCMP says an investigation is underway into a reported death threat against former British Columbia cabinet minister Selina Robinson.

Premier David Eby had disclosed the alleged threat against Robinson in a social media post on Thursday, saying it was inexcusable.

Robinson, who is Jewish, resigned as post-secondary education minister on Monday amid an uproar over comments she made during an online panel last month, saying modern Israel was founded on a “crappy piece of land.”

Critics called the remarks racist and Islamophobic.

“Selina Robinson recently received a death threat,” Eby said on X, formerly Twitter. “Hatred and violence are completely unacceptable in B.C. There is no excuse, ever. She is safe and the police are investigating to find the person responsible.”

Coquitlam RCMP Staff Sgt. Kris Clark said in a statement that Mounties were investigating but couldn’t provide specific or further details.

“Police will not comment on the nature of the threat nor provide any additional information at this time,” he said in the statement.

“All threat investigations are taken seriously and the integrity of the investigation, in addition to the safety for anyone impacted, remains our priority.”

Eby said earlier this week that Robinson’s constituency office in Coquitlam was vandalized with “hateful messages” after her resignation.

Robinson continues to represent Coquitlam-Maillardville in the legislature.

Nico Slobinsky with the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs said on social media he was saddened by news of the threat, adding that he wondered if Robinson’s critics were emboldened after her resignation.

Slobinsky said in a separate post that a death threat to an elected official “should concern all British Columbians.”

Too bad about Selina. She is one of the few NDP members that is Jewish. The majority of the party are Jew haters. Which, I think, has a lot to do with her ouster.

So who threatened Selina Robinson’s life? It was those Jews again wasn’t it? Seeing as she’s Jewish herself, it would make sense…in an Israeli propaganda sort’a way against the good folks at Hamas, etc…& those that support them, directly or not.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in an interview aired on Sunday that "enough" of the 132 remaining Israeli hostages held in Gaza are alive to justify Israel's ongoing war in the region.

Asked how many of the hostages are still alive, Netanyahu said "enough to warrant the kind of efforts that we're doing.

Israel launched a special forces operation that freed two Israeli hostages in Rafah amid air strikes early on Monday, which local health officials said killed 37 people and wounded dozens in the southern Gaza city.

A joint operation by the Israel Defence Force (IDF), Israel's domestic Shin Bet security service and the Special Police Unit in Rafah freed Fernando Simon Marman, 60, and Louis Hare, 70, the Israeli military said.

The two men, who were kidnapped by Hamas from Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak on Oct. 7, were in good condition and taken to the Tel Hashomer Medical Complex, the military said.
The hostages were being held on the second floor of a building that was breached with an explosive charge during the raid, which saw heavy exchanges of gunfire with surrounding buildings, Hecht said.

At the same time, an air strike was carried out to allow the forces to be extracted, he said.

The air strikes caused widespread panic in Rafah as many people were asleep when the strikes started, said residents contacted by Reuters using a chat app. Some feared Israel had begun its ground offensive into Rafah.

Israeli planes, tanks and ships took part in the strikes, with two mosques and several houses hit, according to residents.

Hamas militants killed 1,200 people in southern Israel and abducted at least 250 in their Oct. 7 incursion, according to Israeli tallies. Israel has responded with a military assault on the Gaza Strip that has killed more than 28,000 Palestinians, according to the Hamas-run health ministry.

Netanyahu said in an interview aired on Sunday that "enough" of the 132 remaining Israeli hostages held in Gaza were alive to justify Israel's war in the region. Now it’s 130 remaining hostages held in Gaza.

Yes, I laughed.

Because you honestly believe Netanyahu?

He does not give an absolute DAMN about the hostages that are 'still alive'. He never HAS given a damn about the hostages.

The ONLY reason he's saying that, is right now there's no proof that they're dead. If they were, he'd use THAT excuse for his revenge war.

But to suggest they're dead would mean that his entire "mission" was absolute bullshit - which it was - and that the hostages were NEVER his priority - which they weren't anyway.

"Enough". Fuck him, "Enough" as a fucking quote is NOT "Enough".

And anyone who follows him or thinks he's telling the truth is a goddamn fool.

Also, real great that the Palestinians are all huddled in one bit of Gaza like deer in a trap; makes it easy to kill more of them at once.

Meanwhile his "All clear" for the north part was so echoing of Bush, I'm surprised he didn't have that Texas drawl.
