Iran’s Foreign Ministry says that Hamas “potentially” was ready to release the nearly 200 hostages it is holding if Israel stops its campaign of airstrikes on the Gaza Strip.

***The terror group hasn’t acknowledged making such an offer.***

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani speaks at a news conference in Tehran. Iran is a main sponsor of Hamas in its fight against Israel.

Hamas officials “stated that they are ready to take necessary measures to release the citizens and civilians held by resistance groups, but their point was that such measures require “preparations” that are impossible under daily bombardment by the Zionists against various parts of Gaza,” according to Kanaani.

Hamas has said it will trade the captives for thousands of Palestinians held by Israel in the kind of lopsided exchange deals that have been reached in the past.

“We heard from the resistance that they have no problem to continue resisting,” Kanaani said, referring to Hamas. “They said the resistance holds the military capability to continue resisting in the field for a long time.”

JERUSALEM — Iran’s Foreign Ministry said Monday that Hamas potentially was ready to release the nearly 200 hostages it is holding if Israel stops its campaign of airstrikes on the Gaza Strip.

The militant group hasn’t acknowledged making such an offer.

Hamas has said it will trade the captives for thousands of Palestinians held by Israel in the kind of lopsided exchange deals that have been reached in the past.

Iran has warned it could enter the war as well if Israel launches a widely anticipated ground offensive in the Gaza Strip in the coming days. Already, the Lebanese Shiite militia group Hezbollah, which is also sponsored by Iran, has launched missiles into Israel, though it insists that represents a “warning” for Israel rather than its full entry into the war.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry claimed Monday that Hamas was ready to release its hostages if Israel ceases its airstrikes along the Gaza Strip — as the number known to have been taken by the terrorist group rose to at least 199.

The only power that can influence Tel Aviv is the USA:

The USA can tell Tel Aviv to stop or to proceed.
Therefore, the USA is the true criminal against Gaza and against the Palestinians, the Arab and Muslims.
Tel Aviv kills the Palestinians by the American weapon and bombs.
So the Zionists of Tel Aviv could not do their transgression on Gaza without the American support.

God tells us in the Quran that Jews are abased and subjected as the lowliness is stamped on them unless by two factors:
1- a respite given to them by God [as a punishment for the Muslims because of their idolatry and wrongdoing of each other.)
2- a support given to them by people: here it is the USA and the states circling in its orbit: like UK, and the EU countries.

In the present situation: the transgression on Gaza and its people is done by the Wicked Zionists of Tel Aviv who refuse all humanitarian requests to stop their savage bombing and shelling of Gaza and its people and to open the passage of Rafah for the humanitarian aid... these Zionists have the USA to support them and encourage them to their aggression.

But what Muslims have: we have a most powerful God Almighty Who is the All-Able to help us and break the Zionists and their supporter the USA and their allies.

I believe God is All-Able to crush these mighty and haughty militaries with their fleets and power.

Quran 77: 23, which means:
(And We were completely Able, so how Excellent We are as All-Able.)

The West which founded the entity of the Zionists of Tel Aviv, to the disadvantage and harm of Muslim countries, the West particularly the UK with their weird Balfour’s Declaration—November, 2, 1917 and The Role of the American Imperialism: the USA still in support of the transgression of Zionists of Tel Aviv on the Arab and Muslims.
So the West in particular including the EU countries... all these atheists, disbelievers, idolaters and Satanists equivocally - as they declared - support the Zionists of Tel Aviv.
While Palestinians and Muslims everywhere await and anticipate and hope for the support of God Almighty.

Therefore, who is the mightier: the West, who deserves God's punishment for their violation of all God's commandments or God, Whom we hope to defend His House?

Quran 67: 20
, which means:
(Where are such hosts of yours, that can – apart from the Most Gracious – help you [in averting the punishment h?]
The disbelievers are only in self-deception [with their wealth, their sons and their large number.
])
................................................................................................,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

h When the punishment settles on them.
It means: None can help and save you from the punishment, but only the Most Gracious, if you believe in Him today and follow His messenger.

The Palestinians attacked the Zionists of Tel Aviv in their operation called "The Deluge of the Aqsa", as counter action for the violation of the Zionists of the Aqsa Mosque in the Quds: Jerusalem, then Tel Aviv transgressed on the Palestinians of Gaza, without paying attention to their own initial savage dealing with the Palestinians and their transgression on the Aqsa Mosque.

Quran 22: 60, which means:
(Whoever retaliates [the unbelievers] after the manner that he was injured, and then [the unbelievers once again repeat] their transgression on him, assuredly God will help him [against them]; surely God is All-Pardoning [to believers], All-Forgiving [of their sins.])

Torch, do you also find fault with Hamas here, or only Israel because they’re Jews?

To be clear, even with the above, that does not excuse Hamas for the barbarism.

But it does explain perhaps why people WOULD turn to it to 'get back' at Israel.

You know who I feel sorry for? I feel sorry for the poor, dumb Palestinian schmuck in Gaza who, after a few years of relative peace, was finally getting to where he had a steady job and his family had heat and light and running water pretty reliably. Kids could go to school most days.

They're Hamas's REAL victims.
So, with that out in the open, positions stated, lines drawn, in steps Global Affairs Canada. Asked what those options were, they said there was, in fact, only one: a humanitarian corridor. I guess the option of Hamas releasing the Israeli (& other Nationals) Hostages hasn’t occurred to them?
Jordan's King Abdullah on Tuesday warned against trying to push Palestinian refugees into Egypt or Jordan, adding that the humanitarian situation must to be dealt with inside Gaza and the West Bank.
“Right now, there is no other option
to get individuals out of Gaza. We need a humanitarian corridor to be able to do this,” said one official, who added that there had been a similar situation in 2014 but it was “very complex” and that Canada needs to be ready if that arises.
"That is a red line, because I think that is the plan by certain of the usual suspects to try and create de facto issues on the ground. No refugees in Jordan, no refugees in Egypt," King Abdullah said at a news conference following a meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Berlin.
So, Canada wants a humanitarian corridor to where? Israel? I’m thinking after the last weekend that isn’t an open invitation.

Egypt then? Egypt is open to Aid entering Gaza from Egypt to keeps the Gazian’s inside Gaza…but as far as Gazan’s entering Egypt? Not so much it seems.
Someone, somewhere, if the demand for a humanitarian corridor… has to be willing to accept humans from that corridor, you’d think? Their neighbours sure don’t want them.
That leaves the mediterranean. What are the odds of that happening (?) and if so then what? What Middle Eastern country is going to open their arms to Gaza Folks? Dubai maybe? Qatar? Saudi Arabia? Jordan? I know this might sound cynical but I’m being serious. Is the only option, at least initially, Europe?

Egypt wants aid to flow into Gaza, to keep the residents from flowing out. Why???

On Monday, dozens of trucks carrying international aid, including food, water, fuel and medical supplies, had lined up on the Egyptian side of the border. But a deal to open the crossing has been held up by Egyptian concerns that Israel hadn’t given assurances it would pause airstrikes, and by Israeli insistence that trucks entering via Egypt be thoroughly searched, Egyptian officials said.

Israel has said it was concerned about arms smuggling but wouldn’t target convoys.

The precise number of hostages being held isn’t known. A spokesman for the armed wing of Hamas said on Monday that the group alone was holding around 200 people hostage, with at least 50 others held by other factions. It is unclear if that includes about 22 hostages that Hamas says have been killed during Israeli airstrikes.

They want people concentrated into a camp like setting?

A corridor can mean a road from Israel to the power/desalination plant and then a route south for water, medicines and food trucks to where people are concentrated into the camp like setting.

Potentially a corridor inside Gaza from north to south. Also a corridor from Israel to repair infrastructure inside Gaza for Gaza. Ok. Got it.

Ron, it's been repeatedly stated that neither Egypt or Jordan can handle refugees right now, especially in the numbers being thrown out there.

Toss in that the religious issues would be a huge concern to the overall region, they would have to be seriously careful; the only way it'd work is if they gave up land for refugee camps and another nation took control of it.

And it's obvious why THAT wouldn't happen either.

This happens with MOST warfare regions, if you look into it. Refugees wanting to escape usually aren't allowed to, or are prevented, or have seriously hard issues crossing borders because neighbour nations are afraid of attacks, infiltration, etc. And then there's the doubt that said refugees will RETURN to their homes once conflict is over, which is ESPECIALLY so with this situation. Israel HAS done it before so doing it again is likely.

I mean, FFS, refugees can't even leave the region without getting into trouble. Look at the US border, OURS; suspicion, refusal, etc... and you want Egypt/Jordan to just throw open their borders too?

Not happening.

I didn’t expect them to. Muslim based countries understand the nuances between the different religious sects, and seem to understand the nuances between all these different infighting militias, groups, etc….

Not Qatar or Egypt or Jordan or Syria or Saudi Arabia or the UAE or any of the others… are going to open their doors to Gaza (or West Bank) if they can avoid it, regardless of their capacity to take them or not.

I’m not saying, I agree with it, but just pointing out what I thought was obvious early on.

Yeah, but you've kept repeating it.

I don't think you'll find anyone here that will be surprised by it.

Even that part of this whole issue is nuanced in its own way. Those very same countries/regions did not stand up for Palestine when the "threat" of Israel's creation became a thing.

Palestinians were the low class 'who cares' of the Arab world at the time. They still are. They're undesirables, they're not wanted.

Until they make political points. Then they matter.
