NBC reported on the Today Show what happened when the police arrived, and the bizarre questions it brought up, however NBC then scrubbed the story off all their websites. Fox aired the NBC story that was deleted with its own questions on the deletion and scrubbing of the story.

SAN FRANCISCO — A man already in custody in last month’s attack on the husband of U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was indicted Wednesday by a federal grand jury on charges of assault and attempted kidnapping.
The charges against David DePape stem from the Oct. 28 break-in at the Pelosis’ San Francisco home are the same as but supersede those in an earlier federal complaint that was filed on October 31.
When officers’ responded to Paul Pelosi’s 911 call, they found Paul Pelosi and DePape fighting over a hammer, according to the six–page indictment. When an officer directed DePape to drop the hammer he responded, “ummm nope,” before forcefully swinging it at Paul Pelosi, the indictment said.
The exchange lasted about 15 seconds, and left Pelosi and DePape lying on the floor with blood swelling around Paul Pelosi’s head, the indictment said.
DePape, 42, of Richmond, a San Francisco suburb, was arrested inside the Pelosi residence. When Paul Pelosi called 911, he told officers that he was sleeping when a man he had never seen before entered his bedroom looking for Nancy Pelosi.
Officers later found that a glass door to the back porch had been broken. They recovered a roll of tape, white rope, a second hammer, a pair of rubber and cloth gloves, and zip ties.
The assault roiled the political world days before the hotly contested midterm elections, the first nationwide election since the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection at the Capitol. Threats against lawmakers and election officials have been at all-time highs and authorities have issued warning about rising extremism in the U.S.
DePape’s public defender, Adam Lipson, did not immediately respond to telephone and emailed messages. He last week entered a not guilty plea to related state charges filed against DePape, a fringe activist drawn to conspiracy theories. The Canadian man accused of breaking into the San Francisco home of U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi and striking her 82-year-old husband, Paul, in the head with a hammer pleaded not guilty to federal criminal charges on Tuesday, local media reported.
David Wayne DePape, 42, was ordered held without bond on federal charges of assault and attempted kidnapping and is scheduled to return to U.S. District Court in San Francisco on Nov. 30, local ABC-7 reported.
DePape pleaded not guilty on Nov. 2 to state charges of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, burglary, elder abuse, false imprisonment and threatening a public official.
He is accused of gaining entry to the home of Paul and Nancy Pelosi on Oct. 28 and striking Paul Pelosi with a hammer, leaving him hospitalized with a skull fracture and injuries to his hand and arm. Paul Pelosi has since been released from a San Francisco area hospital.
Nancy Pelosi, also 82 and a Democrat second in the line of succession to the presidency, was in Washington on the night of the attack.
DePape faces a maximum sentence of up to 50 years in prison if found guilty of the federal charges, although sentencing guidelines typically call for less time behind bars. The state charges carry a maximum prison sentence of 13 years to life.
Capitol Police officials have undertaken an “internal security review” to determine how its officers failed to notice the attack despite having security cameras trained on the Pelosi home.

We all must do our due diligence when getting the news. Since we've never had to do this as much prior because Journalism was an actual "career", most people don't bother to "fact check" even the fact checkers because they're wrong more than they're right as well. Journalism is now a lost cause as most media are under the government's thumb which is why things have gotten so dangerous & will continue to be a danger to our countries if not stopped. We must have an independent media but that won't happen as long as Trudeau remains in power & he has the media at his beck and call.
Independent media is the way to go because they tend to report actual news vs propaganda & one should peruse all of them to get the actual picture of what is really going on in our country.
