I got an email a day or two ago from Elections Canada asking if I was interested in working "the upcoming election".
I never knew one was called but yeah, $900 bucks for 4 days sort of working is $900.

Hello Peter,
Our records indicate that you worked as a poll worker for Elections Canada in October 2019 during the 43rd general election. As you may know, Elections Canada must be ready to conduct the next election at any time. To help us prepare for the next general election, Elections Canada invites you to complete a short online questionnaire about your interest in working in the next election.
The questionnaire will take only 5 minutes to complete. We would like to hear from you even if you are not interested in working another election.
Please use this link to start the questionnaire in English.
You must complete the questionnaire if you want to be contacted about working. You do not need to reply to the email.
If you tell us you are interested in working the next election, then we will share this information with the local Elections Canada office in the electoral district where you worked, so that you can be contacted for potential work during the next general election or by-election.
If you received this email in error or you no longer wish to receive emails about this questionnaire, you can unsubscribe from future emails.
If you have any questions or issues with the questionnaire, please contact Elections Canada.
Thank you for your participation.
