Re the large early voting turnout - this is very predictable.

Is was to be expected that there would be a large increase in people voting early in order to maintain social distance.

It was predictable that the democrat vote would be much higher than the republican simply based on how seriously each side takes covid.

No magahat is going to care about covid. That is a ticket off the team. Election Day is a tailgate party for them.

So the dems are correct to be concerned about voting day turnout for Biden. Even though there seems no possible way for Trump to win at this point it is still a US election and is still basically a coin toss.

The largest single voting block will still be "did not vote"

'A Republican bloodbath': GOP senators voice fears of a painful Trump defeat
The new wave of Republican anxiety did not yield any perceivable course correction from the president, who directed fire right back at concerned GOP senators.

The Republican party does not exist any more. It was a carcass that Trump managed to reanimate briefly.

It will take some doing for the conservative politicians to wash the stink off themselves. The democrats will have lots of time to undo the damage.

15 days away from election night, and Biden still has a comfortable 10 point lead. It is notable that at this exact point in 2016, Hillary Clinton was leading by 5.1%. Biden seems to be holding steady, with the final debate scheduled for Thursday.
This debate is absolutely crucial for Trump. He has to nail it. This may be his last chance to close the gap.

You ignore the fact that many of those who will vote for Trump aren't admitting it to the pollsters.

The same happened during the EU in/out referendum when polls kept showing Remoan in the lead but Leave won.

Latest election issue: guns at the polling places.

What on Earth could be wrong with armed militia patrolling the polling places and keeping the peace?

That's as American as lynching

It's not going to happen this time. One of the reason the polls underestimated Trump, is that they did not poll rural Americans with less than a Grade 12 education. Donald Trump ended up winning that demographic by a huge margin. There was also a feeling that Hillary "had it in the bag" so why vote if she is going to win anyway? Finally, people do not hate Biden the way they hated Clinton. Many people who despised Trump, but could not bring themselves to vote for Clinton, did not vote. With Biden, that is not happening.

The higher the voter turnout, the more likely it will be a favorable result for the Democrats. This year, early polling indicates this will have the greatest voter participation in American history. Also, the polls were not off by that much last election. Clinton was leading in the polls by 3.6 points. She ended up winning the popular vote by 2.1 points. Unfortunately, in three states, she lost by less than 1 point (Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania).

Trump is in big trouble, and with 2 weeks to go, he has to hope for a hail mary to win again.
Great if you believe all that , why are you so worried ?
