I do. But you don't seem to clue in to the fact that laws and bans are irrelevant to criminals. So apparently, you want all kinds of them just for the purpose of persecuting those that follow laws

Looks like an old chinese SKS to me...semi auto, not auto... and definitely not restricted or banned...yet.
The magazine doesn't appear to be pinned, so it's not legal.

It was the first conventional rifle with auto fire capability that I found and used. It can be fully converted to full auto fire or 3 burst bump which is illegal and why I used it for an example.
Besides he didn't know the difference anyway
May want to research that further, legally they can't be converted to auto. And as far as I'm aware, no variant of SKS was ever released with auto or burst capability.
Agreed. but I suspect it doesn't much matter, he would likely be in favor of banning a goddamn coat rack if it looked like a gun. Pretty sure there's nothing you could say to convince him into extracting his head from his ass.
Nope not legally converted, but it can be, and yep they come in semi automatic, AK-47 or 67 can come in auto fire but I couldn't find a picture quickly without a pistol grip
I was only doing it to prove a point I'm no expert but I do know the difference, I'm only interested in hunting rifles and mainly with bolt action.

You are absolutely correct, although the middle one is a Mini 14, and it WILL be on the banned list.
These are all, top and bottom, limited to 5 rounds. There is simply no difference in their effectiveness.
BTW, I learned to shoot centre fire on an assault rifle. One just like this:
I promise you, the old SMLE has killed more people than all the M16s, M4s, or AR 15s on earth. Standard rifle of Great Britain, Canada, Australia, New Zealand during both the first and second world war, and Korea. Oh....it is fed from a 10 shot magazine. The horror!
My Dad had a little military experience, and was a real rifleman. He taught me to fire the rifle quickly by leaving it on the shoulder, slapping the bolt back during recoil, and forward as you brought it down from recoil back on target......man you could snap rounds out of that thing fast!
