Russia, Turkey agree to jointly remove Kurdish fighters along Turkey's border in northern Syria as U.S. withdraws troops

The agreement followed a deal between the United States and Turkey that forced the retreat of Syrian Kurdish fighters who had allied with the U.S. military in the fight against the Islamic State militant group.

My goodness.......did Trump ever do Putin a favor ......in this clumsy decsions........that will have ripple effects for some time.

The US cannot trusted........It just betrayed the people that had supported the US with loss of life and a degree of loyalty.

You don't stop endless was this way...........as you create more problems..........not thaty Donald cares.

the question is: what will Putin do for Donald.....as a return favor.

Trump just proved himself to be a lousy tactician / strategist.......and decision maker. This job is way too big for him..

He did not have to shoot anyone ...........as he has just "murdered" many allies and friends to the US military. by betraying them.

Yes, but America said they will never deal with terrorists.(even if they did empower them)
"KABUL, Afghanistan — U.S. Defense Secretary Mark Esper arrived Sunday in Afghanistan, where stalled peace talks with the Taliban and persistent violent attacks by the insurgent group and Islamic State militants have complicated the Trump administration’s pledge to withdraw more than 5,000 American troops.
Esper told reporters traveling with him that he believes the U.S. can reduce its force in Afghanistan to 8,600 without hurting the counterterrorism fight against al-Qaida and the Islamic State group. But he said any withdrawal would happen as part of a peace agreement with the Taliban.
The U.S. has about 14,000 American troops in Afghanistan as part of the American-led coalition. U.S. forces are training and advising Afghan forces and conducting counterterrorism operations against extremists. President Donald Trump had ordered a troop withdrawal in conjunction with the peace talks that would have left about 8,600 American forces in the country.
U.S. envoy Zalmay Khalilzad had a preliminary peace deal with the Taliban, but a surge in Taliban violence and the death of an American soldier last month prompted Trump to cancel a secret Camp David meeting where the peace deal would have been finalized. He declared the tentative agreement dead.
“The aim is to still get a peace agreement at some point, that’s the best way forward,” said Esper, who was making his first trip to Afghanistan as defense secretary. He visited Afghanistan in his previous job as U.S. Army secretary."

The US needs the troupes there to protect the poppy fields for Big Pharma and a "non-existent" pipeline. Also Afghanistan has some of the largest deposits of rare earth on the planet.

If Trump keeps bringing the troops home..........in the same way he orchestrated the recent withdraw........allowing Putin to move in ,make a deal with Turkey's leader ..as an example..........the world power dynamic will be rather different. Trump is making Putin very happy........while working against his own nation and military. His behavior is akin to treasonous. He has been played by both the Turkish leader and Putin as well. The"stable genius" is anything but...

Trump says U.S. will lift sanctions on Turkey, calling cease-fire in Syria 'permanent'

The administration announced the sanctions on Oct. 14 after the Turkish military offensive against Kurdish-led forces in northern Syria. That offensive followed President Trump's announcement that he would pull U.S. troops from Syria — a decision that brought stiff, bipartisan criticism.

Trump called the cease-fire "permanent" but added that permanent is a questionable word to use regarding the region — and said that sanctions would be lifted "unless something happens that we’re not happy with.”

Trump lifts sanctions imposed on Turkey, calls ceasefire a ‘big success’
“The sanctions will be lifted unless something happens that we are not happy with,” Trump said in a special address from the White House where he also cast skepticism about the meaning of “permanent” in “that part of the world.”

The Taliban do not recognise the Wests government officials.
The Taliban are the real deal.
Proof, USA brought them to governance when Afghanistan was allowing Soviet influence, like allowing women to go to universities, no burqa jazz etc.
Its why they kill any thing that sympathises with the foreign invaders.
Get it?
