Yeah, it's scary, but it has been quite awhile since we've had any big fires. 2003 comes to mind, with the big Kelowna fire. West Kelowna has had a few smaller ones. Nothing more than a few hectares around Vernon.

I don't think that's quite fair, Cliffy. There may be some good news for you today. Trump may be getting admonished by Congress. He apparently went one step too far in his visit with Pukin. Even I can't stomach someone cosying up to that Asshole. Much to Walter's chagrin, Trump might get cut down to size. Maybe there's a lesson here for both Trump and Walter...………….."pride comes before a fall". :lol:

Neither he is the leader that was needed in North America though to reset a lot of crap that was happening in cruise control administrations with underlings running the show
We need a much smarter one than Trump to reach that objective. He creates visceral dislike all over the planet and unless you are a total nihilist who wants to see the end of this cycle of Western Civilization, you need to look for a better educated, more honest better businessman, better negotiator, better and more moral human being who makes, not breaks friendships.
Maybe, the next President will have done of all of those attributes and can repair the damage but fiproght now, America (and us, by association) are becoming dramatically weaker at the moment.
