The question should be "WHEN should we accept immigrants" and the answer to that is when all our own people are up to a satisfaction standard as far a nutrition, housing, medical care and education are concerned. It's common sense you don't open your house up to strangers when you have a couple of kids of your own who are hungry. Strange some people can't get their heads around that simple concept!

The only reason to take in immigrants is because they can be a benefit to Canada, not the other way around.
Tighten up welfare criteria and there would be enough people already here to do the jobs immigrants take.
